HAMMERHEAD SHARK:

The scalloped hammerhead shark is very big, his typically formed is an hammer, their coloring is mainly olive, bronze or light brown with a white belly.

They live in warm tropical waters off of the coast of Australia and Central America. It is able to survive in a large range from 3 feet to 262 feet of salt water.

POPULATIONExperts say that about 73 million sharks
are killed each year. Of these, about three million are hammerhead sharks.

known to eat a

animals acuatics
including fish,
squid, octopus,
crustaceans. They
are also known to
eat their own
young.
