HOW TO GET THERE: By road 130 km from Arusha, an easy two hour scenic drive 270 km from Kambi ya Tembo, four hour scenic drive with stopover in Arusha 112 km from Manyara National Park 18 km from Tarangire National Park, about 15 minutes By Air Kuru and Makumire airstrips, bot of them are inside the Tarangire National Park. Makumire receives schedule flights from Arusha.

LOCATION: 03º 41' 59.1'' S // 35º 51' 48.9'' E // Altitude: 959 m Tarangire Maramboi Tented Camp, close to the the shores of Lake Manyara and located on the migratory corridor of Manyara and Tarangire. A 25,000 hectares concession area set aside for conservation by the local Maasai Community. There are 26 tents & 10 lodge rooms at Maramboi Tented Camp, each with an en-suite and private verandah.

Nature walk

Explore the roots of earth on a special walk that will lead you to the shores of Lake Manyara, just in front of the Rift Valley. The walk lasts about 1 hr.
