• Students to be self-motivated to produce the highest standard of work possible – nobody is going to come along and do it for them!

• Make the production of quality work the normal way of doing things – this will make it easier to replicate in the PPEs / Exams!

• Take careful note of teachers advice and guidance – there is plenty of support on offer, inside and outside of lessons!

• Heavy emphasis on revision for PPEs with the homework set over the forthcoming weeks!

TIME MANAGEMENT

• Mixing difficult tasks with easier ones will help you to keep

your timetable. Place difficult tasks in the “best” slots.

• Have deadlines and stick to them. Don’t set deadlines you

cannot meet.

• When you start a piece of work, try and finish it at the time.

Otherwise you will waste time when you restart, trying to work

out where you were and what you were going to do next.

• Don’t put off tasks that you do not want to do.

• Do put off dealing with things that are unimportant.

We want our students to take responsibility for their choices and set themselves the highest expectations… The new ‘tick system’ in lessons will help them to make the right behaviour choices. Outside lessons we also expect that students demonstrate the highest standards of behaviour as ambassadors for our school
