Objectives of the Forum
• Positioning civil society as a key partner in the transformation of systems to bring
about a more sustainable future and the effective implementation of GEF-7.

regional and global policies and actions to safeguard the global environment.
• Contributing to an inclusive and transparent GEF, through effective Stakeholder
Engagement and Gender Equality and the empowerment of women and girls.
