Resistance strength

Exert high strength for an extended time, and delay muscle fatigue. Recommended for sports requiring an intense muscular effort for prolonged periods of time.

25 min Maximum during

working phase

Explosive strength

Rapidly reach maximal strength. Recruit the greatest number of muscle fibers in the shortest possible time. - Train first for Maximum Strength. For sports requiring maximum strength and fast reaction (e.g. running, ball sports, skiing).

15 min

Maximum during working phase

Reactivity Speed of contraction of fast fibers. - The muscular contractions are brief, intense and extremely fast. - Sports requiring acceleration and reaction, e.g. sprinting.

15 min Maximum during

working phase Aerobic

resistance (Endurance)

Maintain an effort for a long period of time. Induce slow fibers to work and to facilitate aerobic capacity. It includes warm up. – Biking, running and x-country ski.
