The 2 bevel Magnifying Ruler is calibrated in inches and centimeters with a 2X magnifier. Our high-quality ex-truded aluminum and the photo anodizing process that makes our calibrations and colors permanent parts of the metal, assures them of that. More importantly, our cus-tomers expect their rulers to be accurate. Disturbingly, that’s not the case with many manufacturers who mass produce rulers that are often inaccurate. To them being off 1/16” is “close enough.” Well at Alumicolor, “close enough” isn’t good enough. We understand that being 1/16” off on a scale can mean the difference between a building that stands and one that falls down. We check the accuracy of our calibrations with a ruler certified as accurate by the U.S. Department of Commerce’s National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST).
