Starting May 22, 2020 buyers will be able to create accounts for approval of purchasing horses at the online sale. Account creations will close May 29, 2020 at High Noon; NO EXCEPTIONS!!! There will be a link on our website at www.topgunhorsesales.com enabling you to register as a buyer. This link will walk you through the process of becoming a registered bidder.You must be pre-approved at 50% of the maximum amount you’re wishing to spend. This amount is held on your credit card to ensure the seriousness of buyer. The full amount will be charged if successful in bidding and refunded if you do not win the auction. We must ensure buyers money is in place prior to any horse being sold.Bidding on horses will open Thursday May 28, 2020 at 9:00am MST and will remain open until the start of final selling date which is Saturday May 30, 2020. On Saturday May 30 starting at 12:02 pm MST horses will be for sale for the final time at two minute intervals from Lot #1 to Lot #144. When the time is up per lot the horse is sold or passed if the reserve bid was not met. Bidding is available for three days.

Example of the Timed Bidding and Sale ProcessAll lots will sell at their posted sale time listed on the Auction website.Lot #1 will sell at 12:02 pm MST on May 30, 2020, if 2 or more buyers are bidding in the last 15 seconds of the lot selling, an additional 15 seconds will be added until the bidding stops and the lot sells. Lot #2 will sell at it’s posted time even though Lot #1 may still be in the bidding process. All the other lots will continue to carry on in this format, in two minute intervals, to the end of the sale. This gives people buying multiple horses some time to organize.

Buying a HorseDue to the COVID-19 pandemic there is no preview this year. If you would like to preview a horse before the sale please contact the seller and arrange a showing while following social distance guidelines.This year the ONLY payment accepted will be by credit card with an additional 3% transaction fee for the buyer. The 3% transaction fee has always been applied to credit card purchases in our prior 6 years of having the sale.If you are the successful bidder on May 30th the remainder of the balance owing will be put through on your credit card. Payment in full must be made no later than 12:00 pm Sunday May 31, 2020.Consignors have been made aware that Ponoka, AB is the expected central meeting place for purchased horses to be picked up, unless an alternate arrangement/location is agreed upon by the buyer and consignor.It is your responsibility as a potential buyer read to through and agree to terms and conditions before bidding on a horse. • At time of registration bidder will be required to provide MasterCard &/or Visa credit card for preauthorization of 50% of intended purchase amount. This will be reflected as a hold of funds on bidders credit card. NO transaction of funds will occur until final sale.

• Method of payment is credit card only (Master Card and/or Visa) and a 3% buyer fee and GST will be applied to all purchases

• In agreeing to 50% preauthorization of intended purchase price, you the bidder/buyer are accepting responsibility of full payment, including 3% buyer fee and GST, immediately following sale of horse on May 30,2020.

• Top Gun Horse Sales does not assume any responsibility while potential buyers are on consignors property. For any reason what so ever.

• All responsibility and guarantees are between the buyer and seller

• Buyers assume all expenses and risks on horses after they have been sold

• The highest bidder of the horse will be the buyer if the reserve has been met or exceeded.

• If you are bidding on a horse it is expected the bid is made in good faith and you the bidder/buyer assume all responsibility for bidding on the horse; including full payment, GST and a including 3% buyer fee on the total.

• If you are selling a registered horse please make sure the papers and correct signed transfer papers are in order and correct. ABSOLUTELY NO EXCEPTIONS

• Purchased horses will not change hands until animal has been paid for in full to Top Gun Horse Sales

• All registration papers will be given to the buyer by consignor upon pick up of horse once full payment has been made to Top Gun Horse Sales

• The correct manifest must be completed with correct information, via brand or no brand, upon pick up of horse

• All horses consigned to the Top Gun Horse Sale are expected to show up and be offered for sale on May 30,2020

• All horses sold will be subject to a 9% sales commission in addition to catalogue fee. The consignor will have the privilege to no sale or pass on his or her horse. If the horse is passed out, the cost to the consignor will be the catalogue fee as well as $100 pass out fee.
