Prayers of Pope MichaelOver the years We have written various prayers. Some for personal use and others for

the use of the Faithful. We are organizing them here, hopefully in the order they were writtenwith one exception. The Litany of All Holy Popes was compiled for personal use, but has beenreproduced. Because of the unique layout it requires, it is placed on the last page. The

miscellaneous prayers were written throughout the years and the date of the composition isunknown.

Prayer Written in 1991

O Lord Jesus Christ, I am Thy slave. I promise to do Thy will, no matter how hard the

saying and at ANY personal cost whatsoever. I know that Thy will first and foremost is theperfect performance of my daily duty, both spiritual and material. Therefore I promise to learn

my daily duty exactly and fulfill it promptly. Above all I promise to profess the Holy CatholicFaith publicly in word and above all in deed. To fulfill this promise I know that I must study this

holy Faith until death, and I promise to do this, trusting in the help of the Holy Ghost, theSanctifier. O Lord, I am Thine and Thine I wish to be, to serve Thee only in this life with my

whole heart, my whole soul and my whole mind, reserving nothing for myself. I promise to lovemy neighbor as myself. O Lord Jesus Christ in conformity with Thy will I make myself also a

slave to Thy Blessed Mother, who is my Mother, and promise to imitate her virtues.

Prayer for the Restoration of the Mass

The prophet Daniel prophesied, and in the half of the week the victim and the sacrificeshall fail: and there shall be in the temple the abomination of desolation. (Daniel 9:27) And

strength was given him against the continual sacrifice, because of sins: and truth shall be castdown on the ground. (Daniel 8:12) These terrible prophecies have come to pass. We long to

again participate in the unbloody sacrifice of the Mass and receive Thy Body and Blood in HolyCommunion. We promise to learn the truths of the Faith, which have been cast down on the

ground and to turn away from sin, which has given Antichrist power against the continualsacrifice and to return to Thee, as Isaias bids us. We promise with the help of Thy grace to do all

in our power to remove any obstacle in ourselves to the worthy reception of Thy Sacred Bodyand Blood in the Most Holy Eucharist. Until this holy day comes, when our desire can be

fulfilled in participation at the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, We desire to receive Thee spiritually, who cannot receive Thee sacramentally. Amen.

Prayer To Gain The Grace Of Mental PrayerO Lord, today no one considers in the heart and the land is made desolate, as You

prophesied through Jeremias the prophet. Lead me on that sure path to salvation, mental prayer.

Direct my thoughts and my mind to consider You, Who are the Truth, the whole Truth andnothing but the Truth. Amen.

Holy Hour

Opening prayer: + In the Name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost. R/

Amen.Let us join in making our offering of this Holy Hour.O Lord, open Thou my mouth to bless Thy Holy Name; cleanse my heart from all vain,

evil and wandering thoughts; enlighten my understanding, kindle my affections, that I may beable to take part in this Holy Hour worthily, attentively, and devoutly, and may deserve to be

heard in the presence of Thy Divine Majesty. Through Christ our Lord. R/ Amen.O Lord, in union with that divine intention, wherewith Thou Thyself didst praise God

whilst on earth, I offer this hour unto Thee. Our Lord Jesus Christ, I consecrate to Thee this next hour for the conversion of sinners,

the restoration of family life and for my own special intentions. Intentions may be mentionedhere. I offer this Holy Hour to Thee, the Sacred Heart of Jesus through the Immaculate Heart of

Mary, as taught by Saint Louis de Montfort. R/Amen.In taking leave of Thee, O King of Love, Heart of my God and God of my heart, I enter

confidently through that wound caused by my sins, into the ark of divine and infinite tendernesswhich is Thy loving Heart. And here will I stay forever, to repeat to Thee through all time that I

love Thee and long to make Thee loved - and to sing throughout Eternity the infinite mercies of Thy Sacred Heart. R/ Amen. (Fr. Mateo. I included this as an aid, but because I wrote it.)

Prayer to Root Out Self love

Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with thy whole, heart, soul, mind, body and strength.

Lord, help me to love Thee with my whole heart, soul, mind, body and strength. Root out of meall disordered self love, which leads me to hell. Amen.

Stations of the Cross

The faithful who with at least a contrite heart, whether singly or in company, perform thepious exercise of the Way of the Cross, when the latter has been legitimately erected according

to the prescription of the Holy See, may gain: A plenary indulgence as often as they perform the

4

same; Another plenary indulgence, if they receive Holy Communion on the same day, or evenwithin a month after having made the Stations ten times;

The Saints tell us to meditate on the Passion in order to avoid sin. Let us stop and think on this. The only reason Jesus suffered was because of my sins. This should be our only thought

as we meditate on the various Stations of the Cross. But we should stop and think that where this

devotion begins is in the morning of Good Friday. Jesus’ sufferings began this night in theGarden of Gethsamane, which we recall in the Sorrowful Mysteries of the Rosary. And Jesuscame from His prayer and suffering to find the Apostles sleeping. Will he find us in the sleep of

sin? Sin is like a sleep, because we are not awake to the real world. Reality is that this is not ourhome, but a place of exile. And yet, if we are honest, we act as if this is all there is to life, what

we acquire here.John 15:13 Greater love than this no man hath, that a man lay down his life for his

friends. 14 You are my friends, if you do the things that I command you And yet have we beenJesus’ friends? No, we have been His enemies by our sins. And yet, in His infinite mercy, He

still laid down his life for me, who have so often been His enemy! We shall follow themeditations We wrote a year and a half ago. The point is that during the Passion, Jesus atoned

for my pet sins. Let us identify those Stations, which applies specifically to me! And as werepeat this devotion throughout Lent, let us remember that Jesus atoned for my per sins!

Kneel, then say: Examine your conscience briefly.

Saint Alphonsus: “My God, because Thou art infinite goodness, I love Thee above allthings; and because I love Thee I am sorry for above all things for having offended Thee.”

An act of contrition may be made in this matter: “My God, be cause Thou art infinitegoodness, I love Thee above all things, and because I love Thee above all things for the offences

I have offered to Thee, O Sovereign God! My God, I purpose never more to offend Thee. Iwould rather die than offend Thee more.

First Station: Jesus is condemned to death. Let us reflect that Jesus was unjustlycondemned and atoned here for the many sins of unjust judgment of others, sins of calumny and

detraction. When the high priest said: What further need have we of witnesses. Jesus atoned forthe sins of rash judgment.

Pater, Ave et Gloria: Lord Jesus Christ, have mercy on us.Second Station: Jesus is made to bear His Cross. By patiently bearing His cross, Jesus

atoned for all the sins of impatience.Pater, Ave et Gloria: Lord Jesus Christ, have mercy on us.

Third Station: Jesus falls the first time. We once read that these three falls atoned for thesins of the world, the flesh and the devil. And so here Jesus atoned for sins of worldliness. Saint

Paul tells us not to be conformed to the world. (Romans) Others say that these three falls atonefor the sins that are reflected in the temptation by the Devil after Jesus fasted 40 days in the

desert. Luke 4:3 And the devil said to him: If thou be the Son of God, say to this stone that itbe made bread. 4 And Jesus answered him: is written that Man liveth not by bread alone, but

by every word of God.Pater, Ave et Gloria: Lord Jesus Christ, have mercy on us.

The Fourth Station: Jesus meets His afflicted Mother. How this must have saddenedMary to see the result of sin, the suffering required to atone for the only evil in the world. And

by this meeting Mary cooperated in atoning for the sins of children against their parents and of people against the lawful authorities. Since of disrespect and disobedience!

Pater, Ave et Gloria: Lord Jesus Christ, have mercy on us.The Fifth Station: Simon the Cyrenian is made to help Jesus carry His Cross. Bear ye

one another's burdens: and so you shall fulfil the law of Christ. (Galatians 6:2) Here Jesusatones for all of the sins or refusal to help our neighbor, when he is in need, even if he is our

enemy!

Pater, Ave et Gloria: Lord Jesus Christ, have mercy on us.The Sixth Station: Veronica wipes the Face of Jesus. Veronica seeing the pitiful state of Jesus had compassion on Him. Jesus atoned for all the sins of hard-heartedness and lack of

compassion.Pater, Ave et Gloria: Lord Jesus Christ, have mercy on us.

The Seventh Station: Jesus falls the second time. Here Jesus atones for the ins of theflesh. By the flesh here we are talking about all of the sins of indulgence of our five senses, such

as gluttony, for instance. And the devil led him into a high mountain and shewed him all thekingdoms of the world in a moment of time. 6 And he said to him: To thee will I give all this

power and the glory of them. For to me they are delivered: and to whom I will, I give them. 7If thou therefore wilt adore before me, all shall be thine. 8 And Jesus answering said to him. It

is written: Thou shalt adore the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.Pater, Ave et Gloria: Lord Jesus Christ, have mercy on us.

The Eighth Station: Jesus speaks to the daughter of Jerusalem. But Jesus turning to them, said: Daughters of Jerusalem, weep not over me; but weep for yourselves and for your children.

(Luke 23:28) Here Jesus atoned for all of the sins of parents, the lack of vigilance, the neglectand even abuse of children.

Pater, Ave et Gloria: Lord Jesus Christ, have mercy on us.The Ninth Station: Jesus falls the third time. Here Jesus atoned for the sins of the devil,

those suggestions which come straight from the Devil himself. Luke 4: 9 And he brought him toJerusalem and set him on a pinnacle of the temple and said to him: If thou be the Son of God,

cast thyself from hence. 10 For it is written that He hath given his angels charge over thee thatthey keep thee. 11 And that in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest perhaps thou dash thy

foot against a stone. 12 And Jesus answering, said to him: It is said: Thou shalt not tempt theLord thy God. Let us not tempt God by failure to correspond to His grace.

Pater, Ave et Gloria: Lord Jesus Christ, have mercy on us.The Tenth Station: Jesus is stripped of His garments. Here Jesus atoned for all the sins

against the Sixth and Ninth Commandments.Pater, Ave et Gloria: Lord Jesus Christ, have mercy on us.

The Eleventh Station: Jesus is nailed to the Cross. Here Jesus atoned for all of the sins of anger and revenge.

Pater, Ave et Gloria: Lord Jesus Christ, have mercy on us.The Twelfth Station and Fifth Sorrow: Jesus is nailed to the Cross. Jesus is now

completing the atonement for all of the sins of the world, especially mine! He is also giving usan example. Father forgive them for they know not what to do. This atones for sins of

unforgiveness. I thirst. All the sins of taste. Into Thy Hands I commend My spirit. Let us placeour lives in the hands of Almighty God from now to the end of our lives!

Pater, Ave et Gloria: Lord Jesus Christ, have mercy on us.The Thirteen Station and Sixth Sorrow: Jesus is taken down from the Cross. The

sacrifice is complete.Pater, Ave et Gloria: Lord Jesus Christ, have mercy on us.

The Fourteenth Station and Seventh Sorrow: Jesus is placed in the sepulcher. True onGood Friday Jesus was buried, but He rose against on Easter. Let us bury our sins and rise to a

life of virtue as we meditate on the Stations of the Cross.Pater, Ave et Gloria: Lord Jesus Christ, have mercy on us.

Note of Pope Michael: We wrote these, because in seminary seminarians are asked to

write meditations for the Stations of the Cross.

Prayer to the Blessed Virgin Mary Against the Wiles of

the Devil

Composed by Pope Michael, February 25, 2009, Ash Wednesday.O Most Blessed Virgin Mary, by thy co-operation in our redemption thou has crushed the

head of the ancient serpent. This serpent has again raised his ugly head by fomenting apostasyand spreading heresy. We, thy humble servants, appeal to thee to vanquish the enemy of our

souls and destroy his tools of heresy and the false maxims of the world. We consecrate ourselves

to unite our poor efforts with thine. We don the uniform of thy scapular, take up the weapon of thy holy Rosary and join with thy Divine Son’s holy Church by the profession of the Divine andCatholic Faith. We pledge our obedience to Almighty God and His holy Church and unite

ourselves under thy banner, O Immaculate Mother of God, certain of victory. Amen.
