Sunday School wing and is staffed by a teacher or
aide from the Bethel Child Care Center.
Hearing Aid Devices are available before each
service from the ushers.

Community Events
The National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) in Minnesota is holding a virtual class on Tuesday, February 23 from 6-7:30 p.m. on the topic of “What We Have Learned About Stress & Well-Being Over The Past Year”. Register at https://researchdinner2021.eventbrite.com. After you have registered, a Zoom link to attend this event will be sent to you the week of the event. Faculty from the Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences will talk about what they have learned about stress, mental health, and well-being during the pandemic and the civil unrest. This will be a chance to learn about stress responses and how they affect the brain and body. They will also discuss strategies that help us learn and grow from stressful events. There is no cost to attend this event.
Lutheran Marriage Encounter is holding a virtual session March 12-14. These encounters give “husbands and wives...the opportunity to celebrate their special relationship while learning unique insights and tools to improve their couple communication for the long haul!” To register, or learn more, visit GodLovesMarriage.org.

Guidelines for this winter are an annual income of $28,266 for 1 person household, $36,963 for a 2-person household, $45,660 for 3-person household, $54,357 for 4 and $63,054 for 5. Applications are available through May 31.
Bemidji Christian Women’s Connection will have a Lunch Program on
Monday, November 16 at 1:00 p.m. at the Eagles Club. Featuring the
Annual Stonecroft Fundraiser. Please donate 1 or 2 gift or craft items (no
food) for Auction. Sarah Page from Bemidji and France will talk about “Life’s
Tapestry” part 2 Hopeless Tangle or meaningful design? Meal and Program

Bemidji Adventures in Lifelong Learning will NOT meet this Fall,
2020. Beltrami Electric Roger Spiry Community Room is CLOSED Through
December, 2020 to the public. ALL wants all of us to stay safe and
well. There are no other plans to zoom, or youtube or webinar, either. We
hope that most of you are aware of and learning from the many offerings on
many public and nonprofit sites to further your learning. Won't we be

The National Alliance on Mental Illness-MN is holding many online classes
and seminars. Obtain information about mental illnesses, treatments, crisis
management, suicide prevention, the mental health system and local resources
along with practical strategies for helping a loved one or friend. This includes
learning the LEAP strategy for improving communication; Listen, Empathize,
Agree-on what you can, and Partner. It is a workshop for family and friends of a
teen or adult living with a mental illness and people living with a mental illness
who are doing well in their recovery. Next session is . Check out their website,

Help Wanted The Bethel Lutheran outreach committee is looking for fantastic, energetic individuals who want to spread God's word to our community.
Duties include, but are not limited to: **Donation of plastic eggs to be filled (Drop off at church before March 19th) **Donation of small items to fill eggs (Drop off at church before March 19th) **Stuffing eggs (date to be determined) **Passing out filled plastic eggs in "Trunk or Treat" style, to the young and young at heart. (March 27th)
Compensation will be determined by the JOY you want to spread and the LOVE you want to give. GENEROUS benefit package includes: Hebrews 13:16, Mark 16:15, Psalm 118:24
