TRANSCRIPT
3:14-21
14 For this reason I kneel before the Father,15 from whom every family in heaven and on
earth derives its name.16 I pray that out of His glorious riches He
may strengthen you with power through His
Spirit in your inner being,17 so that Christ may dwell in your hearts
through faith. And I pray that you, being
rooted and established in love,
3:14-21
18 may have power, together with all the
Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and
long and high and deep is the love of Christ,19 and to know this love that surpasses
knowledge—that you may be filled to the
measure of all the fullness of God.

20 Now to Him who is able to do
immeasurably more than all we ask or
imagine, according to His power that is at
work within us,21 to Him be glory in the church and in Christ
Jesus throughout all generations, for ever
and ever! Amen.

It means that after this message our Prayer lives will
be strengthened and revolutionized.
Some of us might feel lazy about praying because you’ve
had a lot of unanswered prayers, some may think that
maybe God has forgotten about you already.
12 For our struggle is not against flesh and
blood, but against the rulers, against the
authorities, against the powers of this dark
world and against the spiritual forces of evil
in the heavenly realms.
We are in a battle and in this battle our weapon is Prayer. A weapon that nobody can
intercept and it is very powerful weapon that God has given to
us. So if we know how to use it, then we are assured of victory.
We will never be successful in this life without prayer.
That’s why you keep on hearing the phrase that says a
prayerless Christian is a powerless Christian.
Even if you are prayerfulbut don’t really know
how to pray powerfully and effectively then your prayer are just words being uttered by
you, no results at all.
Prayer is going tosupernatural from natural!
HOW?
3:16
16 I pray that out of his glorious
riches he may strengthen you with
power through his Spirit in your inner
being,
• It means that our lives must be strengthened with power through his Spirit in your inner being.
• It means that we must have a right relationship with Jesus.
3:17
17 so that Christ may dwell in your
hearts through faith.
• If Jesus dwells in us then the Holy Spirit dwells in us as well and if Jesus and Holy Spirit dwells in us then we are now in the supernatural state.
16b The prayer of a righteous man is
powerful and effective.

prayers
SMALL PRAYERS • are prayers that could be done by man and could be done even without God’s intervention.
• it insults God because our God is a big God.
SHORT PRAYERS • are not too long or not with flowery words but powerful.
1 In those days Hezekiah became illand was at the point of death. Theprophet Isaiah son of Amoz went tohim and said, "This is what the LORDsays: Put your house in order,because you are going to die; youwill not recover."2 Hezekiah turned his face to the walland prayed to the LORD,
3 "Remember, O LORD, how I havewalked before you faithfully and withwholehearted devotion and havedone what is good in your eyes." AndHezekiah wept bitterly.4 Then the word of the LORD came toIsaiah:
• Here Hezekiah is in supernatural state, He acknowledges that God is in control of his life.
• God immediately answers his prayer.
5 "Go and tell Hezekiah, `This is whatthe LORD, the God of your fatherDavid, says: I have heard your prayerand seen your tears; I will add fifteenyears to your life.
When we pray we should ask the Lord,
“Lord what do you want me to pray for?”
BIG PRAYERS • Big prayer is what we cannot measure.
Jesus Christ loves short prayers,
but because He is in the supernatural it has effects.
31 Then Jesus left the vicinity of Tyreand went through Sidon, down to theSea of Galilee and into the region ofthe Decapolis.32 There some people brought to hima man who was deaf and couldhardly talk, and they begged him toplace his hand on the man.
33 After he took him aside, away fromthe crowd, Jesus put his fingers intothe man's ears. Then he spit andtouched the man's tongue.34 He looked up to heaven and with adeep sigh said to him, "Ephphatha!"(which means, "Be opened!").35 At this, the man's ears wereopened, his tongue was loosenedand he began to speak plainly.
46 Then they came to Jericho. AsJesus and his disciples, togetherwith a large crowd, were leaving thecity, a blind man, Bartimaeus (that is,the Son of Timaeus), was sitting bythe roadside begging.47 When he heard that it was Jesus ofNazareth, he began to shout, "Jesus,Son of David, have mercy on me!"

48 Many rebuked him and told him tobe quiet, but he shouted all the more,"Son of David, have mercy on me!"49 Jesus stopped and said, "Callhim." So they called to the blind man,"Cheer up! On your feet! He's callingyou."50 Throwing his cloak aside, hejumped to his feet and came toJesus.

51 "What do you want me to do foryou?" Jesus asked him. The blindman said, "Rabbi, I want to see."52 "Go," said Jesus, "your faith hashealed you." Immediately he receivedhis sight and followed Jesus alongthe road.

What matters is that God the Father will be glorified when
he answers your prayers.
It is the demonstration of God’s power in our lives.
Best prayers are specific.
Specific defines what is its purpose.
35 As Jesus approached Jericho, ablind man was sitting by the roadsidebegging.36 When he heard the crowd going by,he asked what was happening.37 They told him, "Jesus of Nazarethis passing by."38 He called out, "Jesus, Son ofDavid, have mercy on me!"

39 Those who led the way rebukedhim and told him to be quiet, but heshouted all the more, "Son of David,have mercy on me!"40 Jesus stopped and ordered theman to be brought to him. When hecame near, Jesus asked him,41 "What do you want me to do foryou?" "Lord, I want to see," hereplied.

42 Jesus said to him, "Receive yoursight; your faith has healed you."43 Immediately he received his sightand followed Jesus, praising God.When all the people saw it, they alsopraised God.

• Answered prayer is about the issue of glory. Who will be glorified if I answer your prayer.
• All prayers of our Lord Jesus were answered because it gives glory to God.
You don’t receive because you don’t ask.
3:14-15

When you pray you don’t ask but you pray because you
surrender your life.
3:16-17
16 I pray that out of his glorious
riches he may strengthen you with
power through his Spirit in your inner
being, 17 so that Christ may dwell in
your hearts through faith.

hearts through faith. And I pray that

the saints, to grasp how wide and

Christ,
VERSE 17,18Power here means dynamo or dunamis.
DYNAMO means Ephesians must have capability.
DYNAMO here means capability to do.
In prayer there is participation.
Your faith is active with participation.
God the Father could give us everything. Imagine nobody
ask for Jesus but He give it to us anyway. If God the Father can give us His Son without even asking Him. How much
more our daily needs. He gives us the best gift and that
is our Lord Jesus Christ.
Everything else is possible thru prayer.
If you want to have a powerful and effective
prayer we must pray in the supernatural realm. It means we must pray in the spiritual
realm.
GOOD PRAYERLord please provide my
financial needs.
POWERFUL PRAYERFather God according to your
riches in Christ Jesus you will
provide my needs.
(Phil 4:19)
GOOD PRAYERLord please heal me.
POWERFUL PRAYERLord I pray that by your stripes I
am already healed
For you to have a powerful prayer you must pray God’s will for you or God’s plan for
your life.
How to know God’s will and plan for your life then you
must read the word of God.
Therefore because I know my God, I know His Word, and I know His will for my
life then I can pray or ask His will to be done in my life.
And when I pray for His will and plan for my life then the Lord will be glorified in my
life.
20 Now to him who is able to do
immeasurably more than all we ask
or imagine, according to his power
that is at work within us,21 to him be glory in the church and
in Christ Jesus throughout all
generations, for ever and ever!
Amen.
• The issue always in answering
our prayer to God, is the glory
of God.
• The more you pray the more
you know God.
• You must be in supernatural to
pray to God.
2 Dear friend, I pray that you may
enjoy good health and that all may go
well with you, even as your soul is
getting along well.
That we may have dunamis
active in prayer in order to have
a dynamo or power in our lives.

faith= powerful
prayer
Your faith is active
hence it is powerful
We must devote
our time to prayer.
Seeing the supernatural result
and at the end of the day, the
glory of God will be seen thru us.
Effective and Powerful Prayer is from natural to
supernatural and when you are in supernatural it will
reflect it on natural.
