He is medically retired from the U.S. Navy in 2011. His time in the military was spent in direct operational support of U.S. Intelligence agency operations abroad. In his last assignments as a Chief Cryptologic Technician, Cunningham managed all research and development of cyber entities to assess threat vectors, network forensics, and methodologies of cyber actors across the intelligence community. Dr. Cunningham also acted as the senior cyber/Digital Network Intelligence (DNI) analyst for many new mission threads. He handled all DNI reporting, analytics, coordination, and research. His analysis prompted action from various intelligence community agencies, including Federal Bureau of Investigation, Treasury, Central Intelligence Agency, Defense Intelligence Agency, Office of Naval Intelligence, Transportation Security Administration, Department of Homeland Security, and the National Security Agency. Ms. Fradman is a paralegal working with the Real Estate and Affordable Housing practice groups at Nixon Peabody LLP. Patricia Maxwell, Legal Assistant Manager, Arnold & Porter, LLP Patty is the Legal Assistant Manager of the New York Office of Arnold & Porter. She has been in charge of the New York office legal assistants for the past 11 years, the last five of which have been as Manager. Patty brings decades worth of experience to her position. Her primary work as a paralegal has been in litigation but over the years, Patty has also assisted across all practice areas. Patty was an in-house paralgeal at Schlumberger (2 years) and a senior litigation paralegal at Breed Abbott & Morgan, Whitman Breed Abbott (12 years), Amster Rothstein (1 year) and finally at Cadwalader (9 years) before joing Arnold & Porter. Joseph Bartolo, J.D., Senior Solutions Consultant, Mid-Atlantic Region, Valora Technology Joseph Bartolo, serves as Valora’s Senior Solution Consultant for the Mid-Atlantic region, having recently served at Kiersted Systems/Omnivere in the role of Director, Business Development. Mr. Bartolo is an experienced consultative sales professional and former litigator in the state of New York. He is a subject matter expert in eDiscovery and Information Governance, with more than eleven years of experience in the eDiscovery services industry. Mr. Bartolo serves as Vice President of the New York Metro Area Chapter of ACEDS and the Co-Chair of their Educational Committee. He is also a former working group leader in the EDRM Organization. Prior to his role at Kiersted, Mr. Bartolo was formerly the National Technology Advisor for IKON (now Ricoh), and Director of Legal Projects in New York for Robert Half International. He has instructed numerous CLE courses on eDiscovery topics throughout the United States. Alan Winchester, Esq., Harris Beach PLLC Mr. Winchester is a member of the firm and leader of its national e-discovery practice (e-infoSE). His (e-infoSE) team assists organizations with all aspects of computers and their intersection with the law. In the area of e-discovery, his services include the location and production of documents during litigation or government investigations. Mr. Winchester also practices in the areas of cybersecurity, information governance and compliance for organizations that host private or protected information on their computer systems. He also practices within the Medical and Life Sciences Industry Team and in the Mass Torts and Industry-Wide Litigation Practice Group where he defends device and pharmaceutical companies in both personal injury and consumer fraud based claims. Brad Schaffel, CEDS, Litigation Support Manager – New York – Wilmer Hale Brad Schaffel is the Litigation Support Manager for the New York office of Wilmer, Cutler, Pickering, Hale and Dorr, LLP. He is a resident of Brooklyn, New York and has over 22 years’ experience in Litigation Support. Brad is a member of the Charter Class of Certified EDiscovery Specialists and currently serves as a V.P. in the ACEDS NY Metro Chapter’s Advisory Board and co-chairs its educational committee. Dawn focuses her practice on staffing and strategic models to leverage technology and efficiency for firm matters by building effective teams to manage end-to-end eDiscovery Solutions. Prior to her management role, Dawn served as a WilmerHale Consulting Attorney providing strategic and tactical advice on all aspects of eDiscovery. She advised colleagues and clients on best practices, emerging issues and industry trends, designed and implemented workflows using advanced predictive analytics, statistical modeling and other smart discovery methodologies. Focusing on efficiency and risk mitigation, she analyzed and coordinated the establishment of data preservation, collection, processing and production protocols with in-house information technology departments, litigation support and external service providers.
