CONFERENCE REGISTRATION Wednesday, December 3, 2014 Conference opening times are from 12:30-17:45. Onsite registration will open at 12:30. Thursday, December 4, 2014 Conference opening times are from 09:00-20:00. Onsite registration will open at 09:00. When you arrive on site simply go to the registration desk to collect your badge and conference folder. You will need this badge in order to gain entry into summit venues. Friday, December 5, 2014 Conference opening times are from 09:00-16:00. Onsite registration will open at 09:00. Please note that you must show your confirmation email and picture ID at the entrance of the Conference Center. For EU citizens, please bring with you a valid picture ID. SECURITY The EastWest Institute and the German Federal Foreign Office will do everything to ensure your security. Please be prepared to go through security check every time you enter the Conference Center. We kindly ask that you wear your conference badge visibly at all times. In case of a lost badge, please contact registration at the Conference Center entrance. If you are traveling with a personal security detail, we ask that you have everyone in your party register. Because this year’s summit is being held in the German Foreign Office Conference Center, for security purposes, it is required that all participants adhere to strict guidelines. Please allow ample time for security checks and registration. Security guidelines:
Guests must show their confirmation email and a valid picture ID (passports and visas) at the entrance.
Luggage will not be allowed in the venue. Please do not bring bags larger than 53 cm wide, 35 cm high and 80 cm long, as you will not be able to enter with them.
No parking is available on the Federal Foreign Office premises. Parking in central Berlin is very limited, however there are several car parks throughout the city which offer paid parking. Please visit http://www.visitberlin.de/en/spot/car-parks for a full list of parking options.

By Public Transportation: Four BGV (Berlin Transport Services) bus stops are located right outside Terminal A and B, and all go to central Berlin. The TXL Express train goes to several S+U-Bahn train stations, including the S+U Brandenburger Tor station in the center of the city. Transportation to the Conference Center The summit is to be held at the German Foreign Office Conference Center (Address: Unterwasserstrasse 10, 10117 Berlin, Germany). The Conference Center is conveniently located in central Berlin, where there are several public transportation options available. The number 147 bus stops right outside the Federal Foreign Office on Werderscher Markt. The Conference Center is around the corner on Unterwasserstrasse 10. The 248, 265, M48 and N42 busses run from Spittelmarkt station on Seydelstrasse. The closest subway stations are located on Seydelstrasse (Spittelmarkt station) and Taubenstrasse (Hausvogteiplatz station) near the venue, and are a three minute and nine minute walk to the summit venue, respectively. The entrance to the Conference Center (indicated here) is not the same as the main entrance to the German Federal Foreign Office. To get to the Conference Center entrance, please walk to Unterwasserstrasse, and follow it along the river until you reach “Konferenzbereich Unterwasserstrasse 10.” There are signs to indicate the direction of the conference center on either end of the street. Attire Business attire is recommended for all events during the summit. Smoking Please note that smoking is prohibited in all public areas of the German Foreign Office Conference Center.
