Harsh Arora & Sarthak Prayas

• Formally part of the corporate world, and working with American Express, Harsh, at a very young age, gave up the security of his job

• While growing up, Harsh Arora saw his aunt’s son suffer from Thallassemia, a deadly disease which requires blood transplantation on a regular basis.

• Watching his aunt struggle to get donors at short notice Harsh realised the importance of one’s life and the urgent need

for establishing a more effective way of gathering blood donations.

• Formed under the Societies registration Act of 1860

Funds and Future Plans

• Along with initiating these three projects under Sarthak Prayas, Harsh has also found a unique way of collecting funds : Over 250 families have been registered under Sarthak Prayas along with the birthdays of each individual members and their anniversaries. The Sarthak team visits and wishes these families on all registered occasions giving the family a convenient way of donating any amount they wish to on special days.

• With an increase in funds, Harsh wishes to expand and increase the

facilities provided to the children of Divya Sanskar and open more branches across Haryana, to give under privileged children across the state a platform to learn and perform to their maximum capabilities. Also he wishes to spread knowledge regarding sustainable development to children in these schools as he believes that villagers play an important role in conserving and utilizing the environment properly.
