The East Dunbartonshire Health & Social Care Partnership Integration Scheme (Consultative Draft – December 2015) On the 22nd of January 2015 East Dunbartonshire Public Partnership Forum (PPF) held a consultation event on the integration of Adult Health & Social Care in East Dunbartonshire. This was the third integration consultation event that the PPF have consulted on and responded to on this subject. In actual fact it was in May 2012 when the then health secretary Nicola Sturgeon on a planned visit to East Dunbartonshire announced the start of the consultation on Adult Health & Social Care Integration. The PPF were the very first health participation group in Scotland to hold a public engagement consultation on this subject as they were aware that they alone did not hold the views of all NHS and Social Care service users across East Dunbartonshire. East Dunbartonshire CHP and East Dunbartonshire Council actively supported this consultation, with both organisations providing key note addresses and full participation within the event. This was followed up with a second event in August 2014 (The Public Bodies (Joint Working) (Scotland) Act 2014). These three events attracted a combined attendance of over 150 members of the public, service users and third sector organisations in and around East Dunbartonshire. Working with patients to improve services and “The Patient Experience” is at the forefront of NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde’s (NHSGGC) priorities. One of the best ways to do this is to capture comments from those who receive health care services or cares for someone who receives a service; e.g. patients, relatives and volunteers. NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde (NHSGGC) has launched an online Patient Feedback system to enhance present methods of receiving patients views.

PLEASE VISIT: www.nhsggc.org.uk/patientfeedback

Your comments will be fed directly to frontline service providers to highlight where NHS GGC can improve services and where services have worked really well and

could be replicated.
