NOTICE TO THE APPLICANT
Preamble
Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited, Mumbai Refinery intends to enlist contractors for different
categories of Mechanical / Electrical / Process / Civil / Process Works. .
We are enclosing herewith application for enlistment along with details of documents /information required
for enlistment, which is required to be filled in by you, complete in all respects and submitted to us.
Party’s application form duly filled in and containing all information & supporting documents should be
submitted, in a sealed envelope clearly superscribing “ Expression Of Interest (EOI) FOR
CONTRACTORS FOR REGISTRATION FOR DIFFERENT CATEGORIES OF MECHANICAL /
ELECTRICAL / INSTRUMENTATION / PROCESS WORKS ” (Mention the category for which
Contractor intends to register with BPCL)” to:

Cost/expenditure incurred by the applicant in submitting the application by any mode of transport, travel,
boarding and lodging or any other manner shall be entirely on the applicant’s account.
In case the applicant intends to give additional information for which specified space is not sufficient, the
party may do so by adding extra sheets by indicating duly at the appropriate column.

Introduction
BPCL, P&CS invites “Expression of Interest” in the prescribed format from reputed and competent Contractors with sound technical and financial capabilities and having specialized experience of executing jobs for categories listed below for Mumbai Refinery:-
1. Sludge removal from Crude Tanks including Oil Recovery 2. Oil Spill Containment and Removal 3. De-silting Jobs from Cooling Tower basins, Oil Catchers, Sump Pits 4. Dredging Jobs 5. Loading / Unloading of Catalysts 6. Tank Cleaning Jobs (White Oils / Black Oils) 7. Insulation Jobs 8. IBR Piping Jobs 9. FRP Lining Jobs 10. Rubber Lining Jobs 11. Online Leak Sealing Jobs 12. Servicing of different types of Valves (Gate/Globe/Check) 13. Servicing of different types of Instrumentation Valves including Control Valves 14. Instrumentation Works including Cabling, Loop Checking, Erection / Installation & Commissioning
of various Instruments such as Pressure Gauges, Pressure Transmitters, Junction Boxes, Control Panels, DCS Systems, etc. ,
15. Repairs of Electronic Cards 16. High Tension (HT) & Low Tension (LT) Electrical Works including Erection / Installation, Testing
and Commissioning of HT / LT Breakers / Switch Boards / Cables / Motors / Transformers, Flameproof, Industrial Type Push Button Stations, Structural Works pertaining to installation of Cable Trays, etc. ,
17. Testing of all types of Protective Relays including Numerical / Digital Relays 18. Transformer Oil Filtration and Transformer Oil Testing 19. Capital Overhauling of Power / Distribution Transformers 20. Diagnostic Testing of Power / Distribution Transformers for Residual Life Assessment 21. HT / LT Cable Fault Location and Rectification 22. Boring of Earthing Pits 23. HT / LT Motor Rewinding 24. Trouble-shooting and Servicing of Explosion proof, Industrial Type Plant Communication System 25. Cathodic Protection of Underground Pipelines and Process Equipment 26. Maintenance of Central Air Conditioning Plants
Interested Contractors must submit their Expression of Interest to the address mentioned in application by 15
th March 2014 with all particulars in a sealed envelope superscribed with “EOI FOR CONTRACTORS
FOR REGISTRATION FOR DIFFERENT CATEGORIES OF MECHANICAL / ELECTRICAL / INSTRUMENTATION / PROCESS WORKS ” (Mention the category for which Contractor intends to register with BPCL)”. BPCL reserves the right to accept or reject any or all applications without assigning any reasons.
