It is responsible for thegeneralmanagementofalloperationsoftheAuthority,havingtheauthoritytosignallcontracts,deeds,bondsandotherinstrumentsandobligationsoftheAuthoritybasedonauthorizationbytheBoardofDirectors.TheExecutive Director serves as principal spokesperson for the Authority, providing effective liaison withgovernment agencies, elected officials, business representatives, civic and community organizations, andconcernedmembersofthepublic.WorkisperformedunderthegeneraldirectionoftheBoardofDirectors.AssignmentsaregenericandhighlycomplexinnatureandarecarriedoutinaccordancewithbroadpolicydirectivesandunderFederal,StateandLocallaws,ordinancesandregulations.
• Providesoverallleadershipanddirectionforahighlycomplexorganizationandsetsthetoneforanethicalorganizationthatisbothhigh-performanceandcommittedtopublicservice
• ManagestheoperationsofboththeOn-StreetandOff-Streetparkingprograms,maximizesavailableresources,whileassuringtheappropriatebalancebetweenthepublicserviceandrevenueproductiongoalsoftheAuthority
• Managesa$250Mbudgetandassuresfiscalaccountability

DegreeinBusinessAdministrationorPublicPolicypreferred• 15+years’experienceinamunicipaltransportationand/orparkingauthoritysetting,toinclude:
o Sixyearsofprogressivelyresponsiblepublicadministrationexperiencewhichincludedexposuretokeyadministrative and managerial areas such as finance, budget, real estate, planning, programcoordination,andpersonnel;Threeyearsoftherequiredsixyearsmusthaveincludedresponsibilityformanaginganddirectingatleastoneofthemajorprogramsapplicabletotheassignedworkoption
