Biology is divided into many different levels of study

The smallest part of living things is sub-atomic matter

But for our study, we will start with the smallest level of study as molecules

The largest system of study is the biosphere

� The biosphere contains all the ecosystems

� Scientists can view the biosphere from satellites to gain valuable data.

� Snowshoe effect prevents sinking in sand as the body weight rests on sole pads .

� Long legs allows animal to travel great distances

� Fat stored in humps helps animal t survive periods without food, metabolizes fat produces water as a byproduct
