Advantages of polypropylene corrugate pipes:• greater hydraulic leak guarantee 0.5 bar.• greater resistance to crushing and

deformation.• greater chemical resistance.• greater resistance in time (> 50 years).

Applications:In civil and industrial building, for:• achieving systems for domestic sewerage,

stormwater, industrial, construction• systems for drainage of stormwater,

construction• retention-detention network systems anti-

flood• crossing and drainage for roads, highways,

railways• building bridges and roadways• underground cable protection• building wells• different hydrotechnical improvments.

Polypropylene corrugated pipes with double wall for underground sew-age pipes, without pressure, are producced according to SR EN 13476-3, type B, standardized through reference to the internal diameter.

Innovative characteristic is the jointing system through co-extruded cou-pler directly on one end of the pipe, keeping the structural and perfor-mance characteristics associated. Ensures in this way superior mechani-cal resistance, good sealing performance and easy installation.

Using polypropylene for producing corrugated pipes, material with flexuralmodulushigh,togetherwithgeometryoftheprofiledesignedformaximumcrushresistance,allowstoaccomplish the high circular rigidity, class SN16=16 kN/m2, which reduces the deformation of the installed pipes compared with pipes SN4 and SN8 made from polyethylene with 25 % and 15 % for the same diameters and lay-ing conditions .

Increasing of the circular rigidity represents better guarantees against ovality phenomenon that can occur in extreme laying depths less than 0.8 m or in depth over 6 m under conditions of incorrect laying, ensuring in this way the system performance for long-term (over 50 years).

Coupling length, which varies for each diameter, ensures the hidraulic tightness of the sistem and seal from rub-berEPDM,specificallydesignedforthepipeprofile,ensuresperfectsealingofthesystemat0.5barcompressionand 0.3 bar depression according to EN 1227.

Double wall corrugated pipes made from polyethylene (HDPE) for indus-trialandcivilsystemsforfluidswithoutpressureareproducedaccord-ing to SR EN13476 -3, cover a wide range of sizes, from 160 to 1200 with stiffness classes SN4 and SN8.

Theexternallayerisblack,madefromHighdensitypolyethyleneUVprotection and inside layer is white.

Theexternalwallprofileprovidesgreatringstifness,givesanoptimalbalancebetweenflexibility-rigidity,withoutslidingtothegroundinundergroundsewersystemandallowslight radii.

Smoothinsidewallofthepipeensuresgoodtransmissionofthefluidswithalowfrictioncoefficientandverygood resistance to abrasion, has the color white in order to facilitate visual inspections and with telecamera.

Double wall corrugated pipe comes in bars of 6 meters usable length and at one end has the integrated cou-pler.IntegratedcouplertogetherwithEPDMrubbersealthathasaspecialprofileensureperfecttightnessandresistanceintime.Atthesametime,theunitweightofthepipeissignificantlyreducedcomparedtoclassicsystems, offering additional advantages for handling, storage and installation.

For a correct jointing, follow the instructions mentioned bellow:

• Checkflatness,slopeandcompactiondegreeofthesandbedonwhichthepipeislayed.

• Thetranchwidthshouldallowcompactionofthefilleraroundthepipe.

• Place the pipe in the trench by hand, textile ropes or using the worksite machineries.

• Inspect the coupler and remove any foreign material.

• Use a clean cloth or brush to coat the coupler and seal with lubricant.

• Check correct alignment of pipes.

• Do not press directly on the coupler, use an end of the pipe and a wooden lever.

Check the seal position (must be positioned between the second and third ring for

corrugated pipe with OD ≤ 200 and between the first and second ring for corrugated pipe with OD ≥ 250). Should not be, under any circumstances, twisted or crooked (see drawing).
