This Brochure

This Brochure is designed to inform readers of who the company Powerpump Engineering is, our

services, values, standards and ethics as a Company.

Engineers, buyers, business managers, supervisors and anyone that is directly or indirectly

responsible to overseeing maintenance and repairs to industrial pumps should read this

document.

Introduction

Welcome,

Powerpump Engineering boasts of collectively having over

100 years of experience in refurbishing of submersible pumps

and pumps of all types and makes, our physical position and

pick up drop off services, places our company in an ideal

position to service our target market.

We have two main divisions, the submersible pump division

repairing industrial pumps of all makes and types and the

surface pump division offering repairs, refurbishments to

industrial surface pumps of makes and types.

Combine with these two divisions we recently started with

design and fabricating of trailers offering mobility to large

submersible pumps that would otherwise be difficult to move.

Our Pattern Shop, rounds off our capability to reverse engineer

and cast parts that are obsolete thus extending the life of the

HistorySince 1999 Powerpump Engineering, has been repairing and refurbishing submersible pumps

of all types and makes.

Our hard working and experienced staff have grown the business since then, to a company

that today owns the physical property that it operates from. The company has a BBBEE level 2

rating with 51% BWO status.

In December of 2014, 12 Simba Street, Sebenza, Edenvale, the property adjacent to the head

office, became the surface pump refurbishment and repairs plant. This gave us the opportunity

of increasing our head count, positively impacting the unemployment stats of our Country.

Powerpump Engineering - Submersible Pump Division

Submersible Pump Plant

Powerpump Engineering conforms with and

uses an ISO 9001 Quality Management

System.

All flameproof work is carried out in strict

accordance with SANS 60079/1 and ISO

9906:21012.

All pumps repaired at this plant undergo a

performance test as per ISO 9006:2012. Pump Repairs

At Powerpump placing a works order on the workshop starts with the initial enquiry from a customer.

Once the instruction from our customer is received to proceed

the following steps are followed:

Ÿ Collection of the unit

Ÿ Clean, strip and quote

Ÿ Acceptance or declining of quote

Ÿ Parts are issued from our well kept parts store

Ÿ Repairs is complete

Ÿ Pump is tested

Ÿ The unit then goes through final inspection and is dispatched

back to the customer, with test report.

Along with the paper trail that is created during the repair process, all steps of the repair are

recorded on a proprietary computer database system.

Electrical Starter Panel RepairsAt Powerpump Engineering we clean, test and refurbish all starter panels that came in for repairs or refurbishment.

Surface Pump Workshop

Started in December of 2014, taking advantage of a collective 100 years of

industrial pump repair experience, this division has grown from strength to

strength.

The workshop boasts having up to date machines enabling refurbishing of

a wide range of industrial surface pumps of makes and types.

Pattern Shop

From the removal from site to the Installation of the repaired or refurbished units can be carried

out by our experienced staff.

Our Pattern shop servers our company needs and local industry that would require patterns making services.

Run by a very experienced and skilled pattern maker it rounds off a needed service to our company.

Powerpump Engineering - Our Fabrication Section

Fabrication Section

Our customers' needs gave rise for us to the start designing

and fabricating of Pump Transporters.

The need is to have pumping solutions quickly deployed to

remote areas of large plants such as Sasol, pumps to

alleviate excessive liquid.

The solution is to have the pumping solution mounted on a

trailer that can easily and quickly deployed.

The trailers that we build have a variety of configurations to

suit our customer needs.

Some configurations have a build in crane to easily add or

remove a pump offering versatility to the trailer

configuration to accommodate various products that

would have to be pumped.

All the trailers have built in switch gear in the control panel,

therefore all that is needed is a power source in the vicinity

of where the pumping solution has to be deployed.

Powerpump Engineering - Collection and Delivery Service

Collection and Delivery

Powerpump Engineering is centrally

positioned to comfortably service South

Africa’s Main Mining and Industrial hub.

We offer a 24/7 365 breakdown collection

service from our base of operation in

Sebenza Edenvale, we will collect and

deliver pumps that are requiring repairs

within a 500km radius.

Any unit requiring the collection and delivery

service outside this radius would have to be

pre-arranged.

To service the collection and delivery

service we have a fleet of:

11x 1 ton LDVs

3x 1/2 ton LDVs

1x 4ton Truck

This collection and delivery service

reliefs the customer of any logistical

h a s s l e i n t o d ay 's m o d e r n h i g h

pressured world.

Fast Track Repairs

Powerpump Engineering has a fast

track service for pump repair to

cater for the emergency pump

failure that requires immediate

attention.

We strive to have a turnaround time

of not exceeding 7 working days

provided that the order for repairs is

received timeously.
