When Christian started pre-kindergarten, he needed an
individual education plan due to a developmental delay.
Through UWSN, teachers in Christian's classroom receive
training to identify & address delays in their students

As a junior in high school, Jorge thought college was
completely out of the question.
All that changed when he met Erica from Leaders in Training,
who helped him become a leader and apply to college.
Since then, Jorge enrolled in Nevada State College and has
transferred to the University of Nevada - Reno.

scholarship, Jasmin and Lin are on the path to success
thanks to Women United! of UWSN.
Because of this support, Jasmin and Lin have the financial
support they need to pursue a college degree.
Both are attending UNLV and plan to stay in Southern
Nevada after graduation to help improve the community.
