  • As a non-profit organization officially established by the government of Vietnam, gaining trust and support by many organzations and associations.

  • OUR MISSIONS

    1. Supporting and connecting regional alumni

    and former researchers in Japan.

    2. Promoting academic and business exchange among members through conferences, seminars, training and researching activities.

    3. Strenthening the mutual understanding among JAV members

    and Japanese citizens currently living, studying and working

    the relationship with other members of ASEAN Council of

    Japan Alumni.

    In bridging and exchanging opportunities between Japan and

    Vietnam

  • ▸ Organizing annual activities of networking alumni

    ▸ Organizing cultural and educational exchange programs in collaboration with the Japanese Embassy in Vietnam and Vietnamese universities on a regular basis

    ▸ Coordinating with other alumni associations of Vietnamese students in other countries to provide humanitarian aid and charitable activities

    ▸ Organizing annual exchange programs, such as the NIYE-

    ACTIVITIES

    ▸ Participating in the recommendation, screening and selection processes of MEXT scholarship programs in collaboration with the Japanese Embassy in Vietnam, ASJA and ASCOJA

    ▸ Organizing the annual Japan Education Fair in Vietnam

    ▸ Organizing professional symposiums in collaboration with ASJA and many other organizations

    ▸ Selecting the suitable candidates for the Toshiba Postdoctoral Fellowship Program as a partner of

    JAPAN EDUCATION FAIRS In cooperation with JASSO to carry out Japan Education Fairs annually in Vietnam, attracting about 1600 Vietnamese students to attend.

    JAPAN - ASEAN SYMPOSIUM ON EDUCATION

    Organised professionally JASE 2015 - the very first

    specialist seminar on Education supported by Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan through ASJA international.

    These seminar and fairs attract about 1500 Vietnamese students to attend and contribute actively to increase number of Vietnamese students to study in Japan rapidly.

    Japan Alumni of Vietnam in cooperation with JASSO provide up-to-date and correct information about Japanese higher education and research to help the students achieve their academic pursuits, thereby promoting study in Japan.

    Fostering study in Japan Working with the Embassy of Japan in Vietnam for

    further cooperation in sending Vietnamese students to Japan and receiving Japanese students to Vietnam.

    with Japanese partners like ANA, Toshiba etc.

  • FUTURE DEVELOPMENT

    Increase membership Increasing the number of JAV members, from

    1500 to 5000.

    Supporting Young people - Kohai Co-operating with Japanese partners on internship

    programs and organizing activities such as annual

    JOB FAIR.

  • With the great success of those above-

    mentioned symposiums and conferences,

    Japan Alumni of Vietnam plans to

    conduct more and more activities to

    contribute to the educational

    environment of ASEAN and Japan.
