Description:Ganesha Pancharatna composed by Sri Aadi Sankaracharya and sung in five Ragas. Lord Ganesha or Lord Vinayakais the destroyer of obstacles. Peopleworship him before starting on any task - for

siddhi (success in a new task) and buddhi (intelligence). It is said that Ganesha was born when the eternal couple contemplated on "Om". Ganesha has four hands, an elephant's head (Gajavadana) and his chariot is a tiny mouse (Mushika). In his hands he carries a rope (to carry devotees to truth), an axe (to cut devotees' attachments), and a Modaka (to reward devotees for their spiritual activity). His fourth hand's palm is always extended to bless people. A unique combination of his elephant-like head and a quick moving mouse vehicle represents tremendous wisdom, intelligence and presence of mind.
