Sankt Polten - Bratsk Project – «Door-to-Door delivery»

Target: Runner for Bratsk HPP, 82 tons

Reasons for Air Transportation: - Critical dimensions and weight of the cargo (diameter

630cm, weight ` 82 tons).

- Poor infrastructure in Eastern Siberia and severe

weather conditions during winter time, consequently

ground transportation and sea-freight look barely

possible and quite risky.

Target: Two self driven platforms for heavy cargoes,

25,5 tons each (23t platform + 2,5t control unit)

Reasons for Air Transportation: - Supply chain failure due to heavy flooding in Russia’s Far East;

- High penalty for late delivery

Environment & HOW DO WE GET IT THERE?

→ Well-sites & Gas Conditioning Plant located in PNG Highlands (800km in-land / 2,500m altitude)

→ 97 Bridges between main port (Lae) & job site : BUT Max Capacity = 60 tons Gross Vehicle Weight

→ Impact in improving road & bridge infrastructure = MASSIVE COST plus TIME

→ SOLUTION: → General Equipment / Construction Supplies = by ROAD along existing 800km route

→ Critical / Heavy / Oversized Equipment = by AIRBRIDGE SOLUTION
