The OTC remanufacturing process renews the life cycle of your equipment to current industry standards. We review such changes as upgrades to capacity, changes to system voltages and loss reduction. Our on-site design engineers also design your transformer to eliminate any weaknesses found that may have caused the failure. We provide a detailed inspection report before we begin your transformer remanufacture.

Prior to return shipment, we test remanufactured transformers as new at 100% levels in accordance with the latest ANSI standards in one of our test stations.

TRANSFORMER REPAIR

OTC Field Service provides superior turnkey service using highly skilled field technicians along with the latest technology in oil processing equipment. Our field service rigs are equipped with SESCO oil processors along with all the tools and equipment to handle your on-site needs from tear-down to testing.

Our field service coupled with our remanufacturing engineers and facilities offers unique and cost-effective solutions geared to keep your operations powered up.

OTC also provides a full range of transformer repair services. You can trust our experience to deliver the quick turnaround you need to minimize downtime and keep your operation up and running.

Our facilities and accessibility options allow us to unload your transformer quickly, assess issues, provide your report, perform the necessary repairs, and return it to you quickly.

Repairs play a critical role in extending your transformer’s life. By utilizing the latest technology we can assure all repairs meet the current industry standards. Investigation and elimination of stray gassing, bushing and gasket replacement, cooling upgrades and LTC upgrades are just a few examples of our repair capabilities.
