Analog Dimming Option

Dim input:• A dimming input can be used to adjust the output setting via

• a standard commercial wall dimmer• an external control voltage source (1 to 10VDC)• or a variable resistor when using the recommended number of LEDs. • 0-10V dimming can be programmed – Output turns off at 0V

• 100% to 10% dimming.

Ts: The Temperature input may be connected to a 100k NTC thermistor. The thermistor should be located on the LED assembly to monitor its temperature. If the temperature exceeds a predetermined set point, the output current of the module is automatically reduced to regulate the temperature of the LED at a safe level.

Digital Input Option

• The optional digital input replaces the Dim/Trim wires and has two operating modes:

DALI enabled: The digital input can be used to control the output of the LED Driver. The control interface is compatible with the DALI standard IEC 62386 when DALI enabled.

PWM enabled: The digital input accepts a pulse width modulated signal.

MESO Series a winner for all

• Supply Chain Management –• The SKU numbers are greatly reduced, eliminating custom parts. Maximizing

quantities lowers unit cost. Local Stock more practical with less risk!• LEADTIMES greatly reduced.

• Engineering –• Products can be qualified quickly. Specifications are met across different

setpoints. • Compatible with leading LED Arrays• Active Dimming tracks 10mA increment set points

• Lighting Designers –• More flexibility with Light Outputs

• Sales and Marketing• Can give customers more choices, less forecasting risk• 5 Year Warranty

• Quality –• Built to the same ROAL standards as previous Products

• Manufacturing • Built in a High Volume Factory experienced in Power Conversion

Programmable Output

• The output characteristics of the MESO can be set by using the MESO Programming tool.

• The programming tool uses a proprietary digital interface so that once programmed, it cannot be changed by the ordinary user.

• The programming tool includes a series of switches to set the output current between 50% minimum (factory setting) and 100%. It also allows an adjustment to the output skew time or fade.

Programmable features: • Fade time of 0, 2, 5 or 10 seconds• Digital Input Option, DALI or PWM enabled• 0 – 10 or 1 – 10 Dimming• Iout settings: adjust Iout from 50% to 100%• Iout in 10mA increments
