Power Service, Inc. would like to say “THANKS” to all of our customers and vendors for a fantastic year in 2008. Our corporate numbers showed a 33% growth over 2007. We took advantage of the prosperous year and re-invested internally. We added two additional au-tomatic pipe positioners, two 2-ton jib cranes, two wire-feed welding machines, modified welding racks for additional floor space, purchased a 38,000 # fork-lift, paved our entire lot, upgraded our corporate computer software, installed central air, and bought six new service trucks to update our service fleet. These types of re-investment within Power Service helps us better serve both our customers and our vendors.

Power Service was very fortunate in 2008 to be recognized by Flowserve Pump Division as their sixth largest dis-tributor with-in the United States and Canada, and their #1 largest distributor within the United States and Canada of Flowserve (Durco) ANSI Pumps. This was a great achievement in the Rocky Mountain Area as we compete with large market segments such as Texas, Louisi-ana, Michigan, and even New York. So congratulations to our sales staff and

our customer base for putting trust in both Power Service Inc. and Flowserve Pump Division and for purchasing DUR-CO ANSI pumps.

I would also like to recognize our other partners for their outstanding perfor-mances in 2008. First, I’d like to rec-ognize Atlas Copco Compressors for simply out performing our competitors in every way. They remain the largest air compressor manufacture in the WORLD and continue to spend more each year in product development than all of our competitors combined. By acquiring Pneumatech Dryers, Atlas Copco Com-pressors has become our largest ven-dor. We’d also like to recognize Gardner Denver Blower Division as they main-tain the #1 sales spot in the WORLD in supplying blowers. In addition, Robbins & Meyers (Moyno) Pumps continues to show a creative sales approach, and remains the #1 in the WORLD for sell-ing progressive cavity pumps. Last but not least, we would like to recognize Schlumberger (REDA) Horizontal Pump Systems, for putting the trust in Pow-er Service to represent your product throughout the Rocky Mountain area. Power Service, Inc. recently completed fabrication on a water injec-tion facility for one of the world’s largest energy companies. Although Power Service, Inc. has fabricated many water injection facilities in the past, this was the fi rst to incorporate a Teck Cable electrical wiring design.

Teck Cable is composed of bare copper conductors with cross linked polyethylene insulation. Standard temperature range for these Teck products is 90 degrees Celsius wet or dry with an emergency tem-perature rage of 130 degrees Celsius. Standard Teck uses aluminum interlocked annor (AIA). A unique feature to Teck style cables is the inner and outer PVC jacket. This extra inner jacket provides additional protection from external physical and chemical damage over typical aluminum interlocked products. The extra inner jacket adds a signifi -cant reduction in the amount of corrosive acidic gases evolved under fi re conditions which ensures added safety to operational personnel and protection of sensitive electronic equipment.

Teck Cable wiring design is quickly becoming the wiring method of choice among industrial plant facilities versus traditional conduit wir-ing. This is due in large part to the ease of installation, lower installa-tion costs, and the ease in which the wiring system can be designed. Additionally, In facilities where equipment is added, taken away or otherwise moved, Teck Cable can add additional fl exibility by eliminat-ing additional conduit runs.

This facility and many others designed and fabricated by Power Ser-vice, Inc. are used in hazardous areas. This particular facility will be operating in an H2S fi eld, which requires the injection facility to be classifi ed division 2. The National Electrical Code or NEC has ap-proved the use of continuously welded armor Teck Cable in class 1 division 1 hazardous areas giving it a wide range of uses.

The injection facility was created from initial design to fi nal shipment by Power Service, Inc.’s Design and Fabrication team. Our sponsorship includes a girls USA – AAU Volleyball team that continues to be very successful and a Youth Basketball team that will begin their season soon.
