OxygenRBCs collect oxygen from the lungs and release it to the cells and tissues whereas they take up carbon dioxide from the cells and tissues and release it to the lungs. Hemoglobin present in the red blood cells helps in the transport of oxygen and carbon dioxide to and fro between the lungs and the cells.

Waste collectorWBCs are clear round cells that are bigger than red blood cells. White blood cells produce proteins called antibodies that help our bodies fight infections caused by bacteria, viruses, and foreign proteins.

EMTPlatelets are small cells about one-tenth the size of red cells. They form a plug or scab to prevent our bodies from excessive bleeding. They release chemicals that help start the process of blood clotting.

Purchased with His blood

Propitiation by His blood

Justified by His blood
