HOME AMBIENCE MONITORING VIA ANDROID

Today, home ambience monitoring system is highly demanded. This home ambience monitoring setup can be performed by using three main part: Server, Arduino and Android device. The server will use the Internet of Things concepts and will allow user to be able to monitor the home ambience in anywhere and anytime, using an Android device that is connected to the internet. Arduino board can be used as a hardware platform to collect and send ambience data to the server. Android application will provide the user with the ambience data.

DESIGN OF MAXIMUM POWER TRACKING SYSTEM BY AUTOMATIC CONTROL OF SOLAR PANEL DIRECTION ACCORDING TO THE SUN’S DIRECTION

Renewable energy is an area of significant investment and importance for future generations. The basis of this project is to design an automatic control system for solar panel for tracking maximum power tracking according to the direction of sun ray. This project will analyze the maximum power that can be generated from the solar panel. The parameters that affect the input sun ray to the solar panel will be investigated such as temperature, cell type, number of cell, temperature and the intensity of the sun. The system parameter is important to create the maximum power that can be generated by the solar panel. The system will use the motor system for controlling the angle of the solar panel base on the maximum intensity of sun ray. The motor will be designed to maximize the intensity of the sun ray ensuring the panel is perpendicular to the sun direction, to obtain maximum power energy.

GSM BASED POWER MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

Nowadays, power management system is highly demanded to monitor and reduce the power usage. The GSM power management system will be a smart system to meet this demand. This power management system will have three main parts: GSM, Arduino and Mobile phone. The GSM will utilize the mobile network that will allow user to be able to monitor and control the power usage in anytime and anywhere using the mobile phone and the Arduino board. The Arduino board will be used as a hardware platform that will wait for the instruction from the master to make switching or collect data and send back to master. The mobile phone will be used to send the instruction. The system will be able to receive instruction through GSM, control switching and display the status parameters such as temperature, light and motion.
