I found this picture on the internet but had to use the cutting tool called magnetic Lasso to select around the body to cut out the white background. Once I had done that I place the picture in the centre of the background to make it the central focus of the poster.

The first step to begin with I chose my back ground image which I chose to be clouds as the title of my pretend film was called ‘head in the clouds.

To keep with my title I decided to put a cloud covering the man’s head to link in with in the title. Again I had to find a single picture of a cloud and then cut around the cloud and place it into position. I did have to change the colour of the cloud to match the clouds in the background. I did this by selecting the ‘Hue and Saturation’ tab and used the slider to alter the colour.

To make it quicker and easier for myself. I found a credit block online and resized it to fit on my poster.

To create the text I found a font website where I could copy and paste in on to Photoshop. Once this had been done I had to then get rid of the white in the background of the letters.

I also had to add the actors names on the poster to show you who was staring in the film. I simply added a text box and used Photoshop own font and had it in capital letters to contrast with the title and has it italic to match.
