The Department of Political Science, National University of Singapore,announces a two-year Postdoctoral Fellowship (Teaching in Political Theory!The fellowship will support a "eginning scholar who might eventually #oin theDepartment faculty as a tenure-trac$ %ssistant Professor! &ith a teachingresponsi"ility of two courses per year, the Fellow will have ample time forresearch and pu"lication!
The successful candidate will hold a PhD degree (or "e e'pecting imminentconferment and have e'pertise in political theory, "roadly defined! This couldinclude the history of political thought, political philosophy, comparativepolitical theory, or some com"ination of these and other concerns! Theposition is open to scholars of any of field of political theory, in any period,including "ut not limited to the ancient and modern &estern or %siantraditions! The foremost consideration in ma$ing the appointment will "e thesignificance of a candidates research and the promise of productiveengagement with colleagues and students at NUS!

The terms and conditions for the 1234 Postdoctoral Fellowship (Teaching inPolitical Theory are as follows/

1! %n %nnual 6ase Salary of up to S788,222 per year! Fellowship holders can"e considered for performance-"ased "onuses and salary ad#ustments!
9! %n allowance of S7422 a month as contri"ution towards housing e'pensesfor non-citi:ens (that is, non-Singaporeans and their spouses who do not own
any property in Singapore and whose spouses are not receiving any form ofhousing "enefits from their Singapore employers!
