Harvest Wonderfulness in Pudong —— The 21st China International Furniture Expo Has Concluded Successfully!
At 15:00 on 12th September, the 21st China International Furniture Expo (Furniture China 2015) had a successful conclusion. In face of heated competition, Furniture China 2015 still achieved great success. The total no. of visits in four days broke the record, reached 101,888 from 163 countries & regions. During the four-day exhibition (9th – 12th September), the exhibitors received great orders and the variety of activities attracted a large number of visitors, making Furniture China become the annual prioritized platform for professional personages to explore the development and the future of furniture industry.
This year, with the quality-upgrading of both onsite venue and Shanghai Home Design Week, the organizer brought all the exhibitors and visitors a design feast of Furniture and Interior and a wonderful visiting experience. There were around 2,500 qualified domestic and overseas furniture enterprises participated and displayed their latest products, design and technology at Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC) and Shanghai World Expo Exhibition & Convention Centre (SWEECC). And over 500 enterprises, concept stores and designer studios participated in Shanghai Home Design Week, the most important concurrent event during Furniture China, providing a series of splendid activities, exhibitions, boutiques etc.

The visitor no. on the first exhibition date this year (9th September)
got 40% increase than last year.
The total no. of visits reached 101,888 (4-day exhibition),
a 3.54% increase compared with last year (5-day exhibition).
The overseas visitors came from 163 countries & regions,
5 countries more than last year.

48 exhibitors this year joining the proud rank of “Ten-year Exhibitor”, awarded the ‘Ten-year Loyalty Exhibitor Prize’ given by the organizer of Furniture China. According to related statistics, the exhibition began to award ‘Ten-year Loyalty Exhibitor Prize’ since 2010, up to now, 251 enterprises have been awarded this prize.

Over 90% of the exhibitors have confirmed their repeat participation in Furniture China 2016. Most of them expressed their wish for having a bigger booth than this year. Moreover, there are 455 new companies requesting around 40,000 sqm for Furniture China 2016.

Due to the limitation of the spot, the organizer has to expand the area on the current basis. This year, the joint design exhibition “That’s Mine” is held in Hall E8B. Although this hall is used for the first time, yet it is still popular due to the profound foundation of Design of Designers (DOD) in these four years. A great number of visitors came especially to visit it. Its influence in design field is growing obvious.

The total no. of overseas visits for Furniture China 2015 was 19,225
from 163 countries & regions, consisting of 52.72% Asian (including
the Middle East), 18.37% European, 9.96% North American, 11.45%
Oceanian, 3.65% Latin American, 3.85% African.
The world furniture market situations resulted in a marked decrease
in the no. of visits from India, Germany, Belgium, Spain, France,
Mexico, Turkey, UAE, Russia, Brazil and Afghanistan, though most of
them are still in the top 30 best-represented countries & regions of
the exhibition. And the slower pace of overseas visitors’ growth is also
due to one-day less than last year’s exhibition (the exhibition dates
this year was changed from 5 days to 4 days).

It's already 13 years ever since Furniture China was held at Shanghai New International Expo Centre(SNIEC) in 2002. SNIEC has witnessed the development history of Furniture China from a good platform for Chinese furniture industry to a leading brand in world-class furniture exhibition. When it comes to Furniture China, words like "September", "Shanghai Pudong" and "SNIEC" have already become an inextricably part of its brand identity in the eyes of professionals among the furniture industries at home and abroad. For this purpose, in 2014, Furniture China signed a 10-Year collaboration agreement (2014-2023) with Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC).
