Lionsgatehttp://www.lionsgate.com/The distribution of selected recent non-in-house films for pay-per-view and on-demand are under the supervision of NBCUniversal Television Distribution under Universal Pictures (Universal formerly held home video and television rights to many of the early Lionsgate films), while all others (particularly the in-house films) are distributed for both cable and broadcast television through Lionsgate's syndicated division. Aside from home video distribution of films sub-licensed from other studios, Lionsgate's library consists of films from the respective companies Lionsgate succeeded-in-interest, such as Trimark Pictures, Vestron Pictures, and Artisan Entertainment, in addition to their in-house material. Their complete ownership depends on the worldwide regions of license. Lionsgate would be a good distributor of our film as they focus on distributing independent films, just like ours. However, they could potentially be too ‘upper class’ for us and would probably reject the distribution of our film.

With its three film labels: Breaking Glass Pictures, QC Cinema, and Vicious Circle Films, the company takes a targeted approach to the independent, LGBT, documentary, and horror genres. In addition to theatrical, Blu-ray/DVD and VOD releases, Breaking Glass also takes many of their titles overseas, acting as international sales agent at film markets and negotiations, with strong ties in Australia, the UK, France, Germany, and Asia. Breaking Glass titles represented over thirty titles at this year’s Cannes Film Festival. With Breaking Glass Pictures distributing independent and horror genres, it would be a perfect distributer of our film: Psychosis. Psychosis is a thriller and is obviously made on a low budget meaning that Breaking Glass Pictures would be a good distributer for us.

Brink VisionFounded in 2001 by indie pioneer Danny Vinik, as a direct and visceral response to the institutional inequities of the Hollywood distribution system, we have been a key player ever since in both terrestrial and digital independent distribution. Our roster of diverse titles varies from thought provoking docs to critically acclaimed dramas to blood curdling horror films to outstanding micro-budget cinema, all with a single commonality: these are indie films worth watching. Psychosis is a low budget film, fitting perfectly into Brink Vision’s criteria as it is both a thriller and is independent. Being such a respected in independent distribution, it would be a good company to work with and let them distribute our final production. These are some of the films they have distributed.
