Participate in Stroke & Turn clinic, which will run during consecutive 2 week sessions from Monday -- Thursdaybeginning one month prior to B Championships.

• Stroke & Turn clinic, beginning one month prior to Division Championships (time &

• All swimmers are eligible to swim at both A and B meets. B swimmers will be given priority at B meets; and A• swimmers will be given priority at A meets.• Attend the Midlakes Coaches' Meeting (Time, Date & Place TBD). This is a great chance to meet other coaches and

see how their programs are run.• Supply a copy of your Red Cross Lifeguard Training Certification prior to first day of practice (18 May).

• Complete the Red Cross Safety Training for Swimming Coaches on line course before practice begins.  See(http://www.midlakesswimleague.org/SubTabGeneric.jsp?team=reclmslwa&_stabid_=42520) for more information and present completed copy of certificate.

• Work equally with other coaches to prepare and plan the year end banquet speeches and certificates.

• Attend Year End Banquet (date TBD, end of July) and be ready to facilitate/hand out awards to various swimmers.

• Communicate concerns and discuss events with parent reps as necessary.

• Promote the sport using encouragement, good sportsmanship, and fun.

QUALIFICATIONS:  Competitive swimming background preferred.

Minimum one (1) year coaching experience; experience with a Midlakes League team preferred.

High school diploma.
