What is Orienteering?
NATURE SPORT
Orienteering is about choosing the ideal path among control points and running trough it as fast as possible, on an unknown course set in an unknown terrain using a specific map, only with the help of a compass.

History of POM
Portugal’O’Meeting is a foot orienteering event, with four stages, 2 of middle distance and 2 of long distance. The event is included on the Portuguese National Cup organized by the Portuguese Orienteering Federation and the event held on the 7th will be counting to the World League of the Orieentering International Federation (IOF WRE)
