– The year was 1924 when Konrad Åkesson founded Portia Kravatt & Hängslefabrik and the business has been in the family ever since. Portia has always been at the forefront when it comes to

fashion and equipment – but it´s the human skills and craftmanship that is the core of our business. No machinery in the world can compensate the human knowledge and the feel for raw material.

Our mission is to carry on the tradition and to make Scandinavia more fashionable.
