MID-TERM PROTOTYPE

Objectives

1) Demonstrate our idea of managing human flow and zoning

2) Allows first hand experience with proposed system 3) To simulate the scenario in the MRT cabin so that we can carry out experiments.

After analysing our small scale prototype, our group came up with a life-sized mockup of the interiors of the MRT cabin.

Considerations

1) Materials - cost efficient, easily sourced, adaptability

2) Size - accommodate ultra-sonic sensors which should be placed higher than the average height of a person

Lessons Learnt

1) PVC pipes are structually unsound

2) PVC pipes & floor labels are aesthetically unappealing
