In Maya, surface curves are gener-ated and duplicated for the next series of lofts. In Grasshopper, the folding condition is generated via a line driven by points along the boundary.
In Maya, a sequence of individual lofts wraps around the base condi-tion. In Grasshopper, each of the boundaries generates a single loft that binds to the central base.
Grasshopper provides input con-trolls that allow the folding process to amplify. The result is a more dynamic field condition.
