GREENWALLGreenwall is a redevelopment of the in-dustrial in the north in Naples. It is part of a larger project, which is called NAPLEST.The idea is to create a multi-functional building with residences, offices and commercial premises.
MATERIALS AND TECHNoLoGIES:
The supporting structure is made of iron and concrete. I chose this solution to remember the ex function of the area, which was industrial.
The Green wall is made with the paten-ted plant from GSky system Inc., it allows a perfect thermal insulation in winter and in summer.
The building consists of 4 floors:
■ 1st is for commercial premises;■ 2nd is for offices; ■ 3rd and 4th for residences.

Step 1: Analysis
The lot on which we need to create our project has a trapezoidal shape with three sides that overlook the street and one which is bordered by a row of residential buildings.The only building worthy of study is the Abbey of St. Lawrence, because it is the largest building in the neighborho-od. The entire building has been built following a rigid grid which is interrupted only in the main facade. In fact in the statement you have not used the grid line, but it was the favorite line of the road. This is also reflected in my project where the line of the grid connections veneer building.
Step 2: project of Social House
The design of the Social House divided on 2 levels with a total area of 1900 square meters. It can accommodate 82 students divided into 20 rooms. In addition there are 4 two study rooms on each floor.The shape of the project is the intersection of two lines, the line of Housing and line connections.That link is deliberately emphasized, in fact it cuts the building in three points dividing it into 4 distinct parts. The plan of the building is characterized by angular shapes that divide the lot into two areas, a courtyard and a garden.In the courtyard is a revisit cloister University. It is bordered by arcades characterized by a regular pattern of colu-mns. They act as a liaison for the various housing. At the center I added a garden, characterized by a long session that recalls the shape of the building plan.Take place in the outdoor garden vegetable gardens. Taking a cue from the Certosa di Padula, I created a gar-den for every two student accommodation.The tables was added a decorative element on the first floor that echoes the forms used for the plant.
