Most of the cities and towns in India are highly polluted. The main reason is the air and noise pollution caused by transport vehicles, especially two and three wheelers, which may be petrol or diesel powered. In India there are presently close to 19 million petrol powered two wheel-ers and 1.7 million petrol and diesel powered 3 wheelers and their population is growing at rate of about 15% per annum. Besides being a major hazard to public health , theses ma-chine are guzzling huge amount of petrol and diesel for which the country has to pay dearly in foreign exchange outflow. It is a common sight in India and in other developing countries that during traffic jams in congested areas of cities these vehicles produce tremendous air pollution .

To Design ergonomically a two seater hybrid human powered electric vehicle (emission free ) for personal mobility in urban areas. The vehicle would be capable of being as driven electrically as well as by human power (by pedal).

When going downhill at high speeds, sudden braking producesa catapult effect which results in overturning of the tricycle and rick-shaw . That is why dual disc has been used at front fork tire to provide proper stability during panic breaking

The objective of this vehicle to design a fun to drive versatile ,safe ,durable and high performance off road vehicle. This vehicle must be capable of negotiating the most extreme terrain with confidence and ease,This vehicle also capable to run in multi terrain area like Sand, Mud, Snow, Rock. .

Frame concept - In Mono ATV in use roll cage structure type frame. The primary objective of the frame is to provide a 3 Dimensional protected space around the driver that will keep the driver safe . Its secondary objects are to provide reliable mounting location for components , be appealing low cost and low in weight

Design a range of energy Efficient, Hygienic, Portable, Self Sustaining, All time toilet system which could be used in static or mobile mode to meet the requirements of masses in all kinds of environments.

Design Brief

Problem identification

India is a country of huge population living in varied geographical , social and economic diversities . Its unique continental size of population and diversities also contributes to its own unique set of problems open defection being one of them requires intensive government and social measures India still accounts for 638 million people defecting in open i.e. more than 55% of world’s total open defecting population (11 million ) . Lack of sanitation facilities at public places, buildings, schools, public gatherings and tourist spots etc. It is one of the greatest hindrance in building India’s image as a hygienic, healthy, clean country. Constant increas-ing population pressure on limited resources demands some radical design specifically for our conditions .

Literature Survey

Research finding key point feature Primary Needs: Hygienic– 1. Floor to be dry in all conditions.2. Proper ventilation and exhaust.3 Availability of water/ cleaning agent for flushing/cleaning.4. Proper overflow system.
