_Third Belgrade

Danube waterfront_2008

Creative dynamic city that would generate creativity, innovation and economic growth and encouraged. Arts and cultural diversity. Experi-ments, change forms, visualization of the future, maximizing potential and creative strengthening of local identity. A sustainable mix of uses is proposed along the waterfront, some which contribute culturally to Belgrade such as restaurants, education, leisure and cultural facilities. I concentrated on how the project could be realized in terms of phas-ing and understanding what the third Belgrade waterfront specifically requires. In doing so, the Masterplan respond simultaneosly to three objectives: to increase connections between the center and the water-front, to develop new shopping/cultural activities on the promenade and to maximize views of the Danube river for the housing/offices.

_Tobacna factory

Transformation of the tobacco factory area_2010

In this newly created area I created different educational, cultural and social programs that would connect with multiple new forms of city housing that have quality designed public spaces. Its goal to conceive an open building that is effective as an inventing and yet powerful sym-bol in all directions. Interpretaion of natural hierarchy and order through slight movements of tipically horizontal elements. Playing with insiede/outside, public/private, assumtions, changing connotation of some basic elements, walls, doors, spaces, places, voids. Pulling and layering one factory place producing several new spatial features and relations.

Flower market _2011

New understanding of architecture as a carpet spread on the ground, low-rise buildings and high density. Building spaces and gaps, empty or patios that structure the plot, divided use or become extensions of inte-rior spaces, but ultimately oxygenate, give life and provide flexibility. Pa-tios that become central elements around which are organized spaces.

An innovative market for flowers, plants and accessory wholesalers, food market, sport center, relaxation center and many other facilities. The project of the market maintains in its organization and exterior fa-cade, in which the roof turns into the real protagonist, like an icon of public architecture.

Fashion pavilion_2011

A store that is an inverse of all other clothing stores, a store that does away with static displays in favor of changing, and being changed by users who inhabit it.

Inspired by Patrik Ervell's sense of material-exploration, clothes are exhibited within a series of ten user-activated Lampion-Type Changing Rooms, both hanging from a metal-grid ceiling, and rising from the ex-isting rusticated floor to provide customers with a temporary space to try on clothes. The empty store leaves complete openness, all clothes are seen, and the full breadth of the space is experienced. The half-occupied store begins to change the way in which customers circulate, and which clothes are available for viewing. The completely occupied store leads customers into a unique dialogue with one another.

_Treesome

Easa_2012

As contemporary Noah’s, our team deals with what comes after. We envision to build a prototype, of a post-apocalyptic treehouse - elevated on structures found in surrounding landscape (trees). We give a solution, not only in imaginary scenario but also for a very real and less fortunate areas struck by natural disasters. A prototype of the treehouse, built in 1:1 scale.

We are interested in a tree, big, healthy and leafy, durable enough to bear a transformable shelter into a sauna that can host a sauna-enthu-siasts. We will menage to find a proper tree candiadate, and will be more than pleased to erect it as initially planed.
