The project is a hostel in the center of Rome in a neighborhood called Trastevere.The façade is composed of a large freestanding wall, which has openings in the material that is plastically modeled. A long straight stair-case connects the floors and is fully illumi-nated by a skylight in the roof. The structure has a regular scan, which allows you to create standard forms of dormitories and private rooms. The rooms overlook the garden of the convent of Santa Cecilia. Instead the common areas, present on each floor, are overlooking the square.

The project area is in the city of Pomezia, near Rome. The city was founded on the 25th of April of 1938 and is part of a plan for reclamation and urbanizationof the “Agro Pontino”-the countryside near Rome. The urban tissue is ORTHOGONAL, inspirated by the roman urbanism, the Cardo and Decumano rule. The SQUARE is on the principal way and representes the city center. Face on it the public buildings where were made the citizen life: the municipality building with the high TOWER and the church. Also the project area is on the principal way. Is the ancient agricultural consortium of Pomezia, now abbandoned. In the area there is a building to storage the grain. The idea is to propose an alternative centebuilding to storage the grain.
