The shape of the coat rack designed encompasses the concept of a sculptural form that is functional at the same time.

The concept covered in relation to its usability is a mix between primary and secondary functions of the rack and any fragment of the object can be used as such. Its sculptural form is vague and also in favor of its usability. Its gentle concave slope makes the hooks positioned in three different vertical axes, avoiding heaping of stuff on one single axis. With the purely organic and clean shape built by its negative spaces formed by the tubes, the product is made both for decoration and use, establishing its function by going beyond standard hangers.

The Alabastro lamp have a very gentle shape, a certain weight and sophistication together with a floating sensation

provided by its minimal height. The lamp is a fine piece of decoration to be used in various places providing a smooth and

indirect light, trying to simulate the transparency of the Alabaster stone with a canddle in it.

This project has as its object of study the process of displacement, preparation and sale of kebabs on the beach of Ponta Negra. The choice of such a system took into account the economic, social and environmental task - The kebabs are the best selling food items in this beach and it is a important source of income for residents of the Fishermen Village near to it. Little has been planned until now regarding the execution of this work done by those traders, and we can see by observing working conditions that it can cause serious damage to their physical and mental health. Focusing on the worker and their psychological, cognitive and physical relations with their work, this project tries to intervene in the target system to enhance the man-machine-environment interaction.

The Onda Vaga urban shade furniture project and the Onda Vaga thrash bin project are a social, contextual and enviromental work that was developed to preserve a culture of a specific distric, and to

attent the habit of one of the unique places at the city of Natal(Brazil) that people stops before crossing the street. The project was thought throught a very clear necessity caused by the heat of a city located bellow

the equador line. In this way the shade is located at the most crowded corners at the district, making a shadow for who is waiting for the green lights to cross the street.

Fonseca was selected to be part of the Prague Quadrienal as a member of Brazilian Student Delegation, who won the golden trigga, the highest prize at the Quadrienal.
