6. my suggestion , there should be greater awareness among Malaysians to move

forward in order to compete with other developed countries

all requirements can be provided and all the progress achieved.

1. Malaysia is facing a shortage of well-trained engineers in the niche discipline of

design and research and development (R&D) engineers.

2. The factors that could lead to create engineers are positive attitude, technological

advances and job competition.

3. The first factor is positive attitude.

a) The Desire and confidence in venturing into research and development to

make this group as a contributor to the scientific.

b) Commitment to education, environment and needs of the country in creating a

pool of skilled research and development in line with Wawasan 2020.

4. Technological advances also become one of the factor.

c) Research engineers are at the forefront of the technology and are always

attempting to push the boundaries of the unknown.

d) Technology is important for the government of a country for economic and

military strength depends on technological progress. In keeping with the pace

and achievement of science and technology, Malaysia should have a number

of scientists who are committed to a career.

5. The last one is quality job competition.

c) Quality knowledge workers mean an employee who has a high level of

awareness for the economic development of the country and always with the

government that runs the country. it was returned to the government which

has provided employment opportunities. These things are central to

increasing job competition from time to time.

d) Employment opportunities in the professional field has opened the minds of

Malaysians to venture into the next opportunity to go further. A good level of

education to produce skilled workers to enter the professional field.

6. My suggestion, the government should be sensitive about the needs expressed

by increasing investment in education and related programs.

7. What steps should be taken by all levels of society to remain competitive with

other developed countries.
