Walking City Watch Co. is a mens wrist-watch company hypothetically located in Boston’s historic North End. The company’s name is derrived from Boston’s lesser known nickname, “America’s Walking City.” The brand’s identity aims to set itself apart from the typical consistencies of the mens wrist-watch market and claim its own territory. WCW Co. achieves this through retro forms, expressive photography, and an unconventional color scheme.

The goal here was to create a five item package for Barefoot wines. Barefoot’s existing brand aesthetic was altered slightly to reiterate the variety within the package. The end result is a minimalist, eye-catching package design that helps the consumer learn to distinguish wines and pair them with foods.

There were two predominant goals in this rebranding process. The first was to replace the original Tops logo with a contemporary solution while still maintaining nuances of the original aesthetic. The second was to create a refined grocery shopping experience for consumers through the use of blunt communication from the packaging and signage.
