V alve bonnet weld repair can be tricky business as the top of the bonnet makes reachinginto the lower bore where the stem packing sits very difficult. Try drawing a picture holdingthe pencil on the eraser end and at arms' length. Not too bad? Now do it blindfolded. Thisis the kind of challenge welding some of these small bores can pose.

Notice in the picture (top right) how the weldtorch must pass though the top of the bonnet tothe lower bore.

With the Climax BW3000 this weld can be made
