Message from School Council
A School Council meeting was held on 29 August and both the Strategic Plan 2017 - 2020 and the 2017 Annual Implementation Plan (AIP) for Pomonal Primary School were endorsed. We would like to thank all those who attended the consultation on the plans at the end of Term 2 for their valuable input and feedback!
We would also like to thank everyone involved in the Art Show fundraiser for making the event such a great success. Funds raised will go towards building the new outdoor learning space, which we are currently calling the Pomonal Sustainable Nature Activity Precinct (PSNAP). We are also pleased to announce that we have been successful in our grant application to the Ararat Wind Farm Sustainable Grant program and will be receiving a 15,000 match grant for PSNAP. A huge thank you to Scotty and Anthony for taking time with me to prepare the application that secured this additional funding.
School Council would like to wish all those attending State School Spectacular a wonderful time. The children have worked very hard learning the songs and many of us will be traveling to Melbourne this weekend to see the live performance.
Please remember that you are welcome to approach any School Council member if there is anything you would like to raise with School Council - the door is always open!
