Logical Fallacies: errors in reasoning 1 of 2

Ad hominem: attacking a person’s ideas by discrediting him as a person

Arguing from analogy: comparing only similarities among two things while ignoring the differences which would weaken the argument

Begging the question:This fallacy consists of assuming in a definition or in the premises of your argument the very point you are trying to prove. In other words, the claim itself is used to prove itself.
