ORDER PROCESSING POLICY

ORDERINGFor the purpose of minimizing and elim i nat ing er rors, Craft-Maid has adopt ed the following pro ce dure for all orders. 1. All orders must be sub mit ted on Craft-Maid Order Forms or electronically using the ordering software. 2. A 50% deposit is required with all orders at the time the order is placed. 3. A floor plan must accompany each order. 4. A front elevation must accompany each order. 5. The finish sample approved & signed by dealer's customer.

The writ ten order takes pre ce dent over the floor plan at the factory. In clude all dimensions of each wall on the floor plan. Fill in the Order Form completely and accurately. Special cabinets must have a de tailed drawing that includes all di men sions.Craft-Maid will accept written orders. Tele phone orders cannot be ac cept ed. FAX orders are ac cept able on Craft-Maid Order Forms. Transmitting orders electronically is also acceptable.

ORDER CHANGES & LABOR CHARGES1. On orders processed but not in production $75

(net)2. On orders processed and in production $95 (net)

plus cost of material and labor.3. Changes cannot be accepted on items in the

Finishing De part ment or already finished.4. Labor Charges - There will be a minimum charge of

$75 (net) per hour per man. The minimum charge is one hour.

ACKNOWLEDGMENTSAn incomplete order cannot be pro cessed for pro duc tion scheduling until all in for ma tion is supplied. Week of delivery cannot be determined until all information is received. Or ders will be ac knowl edged as soon as the order is deemed complete. The acknowledgment will include the Craft-Maid Factory Contract Num ber (which must always be listed when referring to a particular job), and the total list price. The dealer is expected to prompt ly check his acknowledgment since the re spon si bil i ty for detecting errors lies with the dealer. Any errors should be re port ed to the Craft-Maid order de part ment immediately. All acknowledgments must be signed with the dealers' final approval which authorizes production to begin.

SPECIAL QUOTATIONSIn the course of planning and selling kitch ens, you may

encounter situations where customers request items that are not shown in the Price Catalogue. If you are faced with this situation, fax the factory a sketch of the item re quest ed. Craft-Maid will in turn advise you to whether or not the product can be man u fac tured and how much it will cost. The factory may not be able to fill every request, but we may be able to suggest an alternate item that will fill your needs.

DELIVERY POLICIES

FREIGHTAll cabinets are blanket wrapped when shipped by Craft-Maid truck. Deliveries are by one man which re quires each dealer to pro vide a helper to unload in order to avoid damage while unloading. When a second man is requested by the dealer, Craft-Maid can usually provide the requested helper. The cost of this helper must be quoted. Notification of delivery is made several days in advance. Freight costs are charged at a fixed cost per cabinet,

PICK - UPSIn order to be able to schedule deliveries of our production efficiently, there will be a charge for all deliveries that are not arranged by the factory. This charge will be 1% of the net cost of the job. These pick ups affect our delivery efficencies to other dealers. This charge will apply for dealers who either pick up them selves or designate other carriers to pick up for them. A dealers intention to pick up an order must be stated when the order is mailed to the factory.The regular working hours of em ploy ees is Monday to Friday from 6:00 A.M. to 2:30 P.M. In order to have help available to assist you in loading, kindly schedule all pick-ups accordingly (no later than 1 P.M.). Please arrange to have an ample supply of furniture blankets available when sched ul ing all pick-ups at the factory.

STORAGE CHARGEOrders will incur a storage charge of 1% of the net cost of the job per week after completion. Orders will be stored only if space is available at the time and all outstanding invoices are paid in full,

SERVICE POLICYRequests for service or credit will only be considered by the factory in the cat e go ries listed below:

1. Replacement of materials delivered via Craft-Maid truck and received in dam aged condition after

it is described on the delivery receipt and signed.2. Replacement of defective material covered by

Craft-Maid warranty.3. Additional materials required to re-work in the field

due to the factory not producing as specified when ordered.

DAMAGED MATERIALSAny material that is delivered on a Craft-Maid truck and received in dam aged con di tion re quir ing factory repair or re place ment, must be returned to Craft-Maid on the same truck it was delivered on. The factory shall de ter mine if the returned material will be repaired or replaced. Digital photos must document any damage.

Craft-Maid Kitchens will assume no re spon si bil i ty for damaged materials which has been delivered by any other carrier. When this occurs, you should file a damage claim with the carrier that delivered the damaged materials. A regular order should be used when reordering, if reordering is necessary.

DEFECTIVE MATERIALSDefective materials covered by Craft-Maid Kitchens warranty will be re placed free of charge as follows:

1. Defective items will be replaced or repaired after written approval by Craft-Maid at the factory.

2. Digital photos must document any defects.

3. In order to assure the best possible color match, return the defective part to the factory.

4. If an item is returned with a re place ment order, shipment will be made at NO CHARGE providing prior written approval was received from the fac to ry. Otherwise, it will be charged at current pricing, and a credit will be issued upon receipt and inspection of the defective material.

INFIELD RE-WORK MATERIALSOccasionally a cabinet or item may be made incorrectly or not as specified on the order. In most cases, these errors can be corrected in the field, but require additional factory material. You must obtain prior written approval from the factory for a no charge authorization for these ad di tion al materials. Digital photos must document any re-work. The factory reserves the option of approving the additional materials or au tho riz ing you to return the item to the factory for re-work.

RETURNS & CREDITSCraft-Maid will not accept any ma te ri al returned for credit unless prior written au tho ri za tion has been given by our office. Prior arrangements must be made before an item can be returned.

LABOR ALLOWANCESThere are no labor al lowances. (See Dealer Responsibilities)

DEALER RESPONSIBILITIES1. Inspection of Craft-Maid products upon de liv ery.2. Servicing minor damages which may occur in

shipment.3. Final touch-up and adjustments in clud ing doors

and drawers.4. All labor expenses incurred in the execution of

this policy. Labor to accomplish routine service is the responsibility of the designer. The designer is expected to calculate additional labor into the job to cover labor costs for these adjustments.

5. All other materials and/or labor re quired by the consumer in the in stal la tion and service of the Craft-Maid Kitchen.

6. To be familiar with this policy and to execute it as stipulated herein.

PRODUCT & SPECIFICATION CHANGES

In keeping with the continuous re fine ment policy, Craft-Maid Kitchens reserves the right to alter specifications and styles without general notice or obligation, and does not guarantee shade or pattern or grain of the woods used and supplied to its customers.

MISCELLANEOUS ORDERS

Craft-Maid`s policy is to produce replacement parts, additional parts, and rush items within approximately 14 working days (plus shipping).Please take extra care with your original order to help prevent these costly small orders.

Small order charges can be avoided by:

1- Ordering extra lengths of mouldings and all Appliance Panels with the original order (a major cause of small orders)2- Checking your paperwork and our confirmations thoroughly.

All small orders (Less than $1000 list) will incur a small order charge of $100 list.

Note: This small order charge does not apply to sample fronts and/or sales aid items.

WARRANTY

LIMITED WARRANTY -

Craft-Maid warrants the Craft-Maid cabinet to the original consumer purchaser which this warranty accompanies to be free from defects in workmanship and materials during the warranty period. This warranty sets forth our total warranty commitment. We will not assume, nor authorize any person to assume for us, any liability in connection with the sale of Craft-Maid products.

Length of Warranty -

One year from date of delivery to the consumer, or 15 months from date of manufacture.

De fec tive Parts -

During the warranty period, any defective ma te ri als supplied by Craft-Maid, will be replaced by Craft-Maid at NO CHARGE to you except for cost and re mov al, trans- por ta tion and installation.

Misuse of Cab i nets -

This warranty does not apply to any cabinet which is misused, altered, improperly stored, or im prop er ly installed. See Page C-17 for description of misuse (Cabinet care, Humidity and Effects of moisture in wood). Misuse is subjecting cabinets to uncontrolled environments.

Factory Contract Number -

The identification number or Factory Contract Number is a four or five digit number that can be found on the underside of any working drawer. You should always use the Factory Contract Number when talking or writ ing the factory about a par tic u lar kitchen or job.

Soft and Silent Closing For Doors

Soft and silent closing for doors senses how hard the cabinet door is being closed, then adjusts resistance to create

a smooth, silent close.

Will be used on Traditional Plus Inset Cabinetry with a raised floor when ordering a fully concealed self closing hinge. These hinges are:

The raised floor (Traditional Plus) is the door stop. In Traditional (flush floor) the magnet is the door stop. Therefore,

the soft and silent closing mechanism is only available in Traditional Plus. The soft and silent closing mechanism

and a magnet cannot be used at the same time.
