Caring for Your rs100Likeanyelectronicdevice,thePolartrainingcomputershouldbetreatedwithcare.Thesuggestionsbelowwillhelpyoufulfillguaranteeobligationsandenjoythisproductformanyyearstocome.
Detach the transmitter connector from the strap and rinse the strap under running water after every use.Drytheconnectorwithasofttowel.Neverusealcoholoranyabrasivematerial(steelwoolorcleaningchemicals).
Wash the strap regularly in a washing machine at 40ºC/104ºF or at least after every fifth use.Thisensuresreliablemeasurementandmaximizesthelifespanofthetransmitter.Useawashingpouch.Donotsoak,spin-dry,iron,drycleanorbleachthestrap.Donotusedetergentwithbleachorfabricsoftener.Neverputthetransmitterconnectorinthewashingmachineordrier!
Dry and store the strap and the transmitter connector separately to maximize the transmitter battery lifetime.Washthestrapinawashingmachinebeforelong-termstorageandalwaysafteruseinpoolwaterwithhighchlorinecontent.

batterycapacityisleft.• Excessiveuseofthebacklightdrainsthebatterymorerapidly.• Incoldconditions,thelowbatteryindicatormayappear,but
willdisappearwhenthetemperaturerises.• Thebacklightandsoundareautomaticallyturnedoffwhen
thelowbatteryindicatorisdisplayed.Anyalarmssetpriortotheappearanceofthelowbatteryindicatorwillremainactive.
