General rules 1. Inalldisputesinwhicharuling,interpretation, clarificationorinterventionisrequired,thedecision ofthepokersupervisorshallbefinal.

2. Itshallbetheresponsibilityofallplayerstoprotect theirhanduntiltheyaresatisfiedthatithaslostto allhandsatthetable.

3. Eachplayershallberequiredtokeepallcardsdealtto theminfullviewofthedealeratalltimes.Thedealer isrequiredtoensurecompliance.

4. Attheshowdown,awinninghandmustbeclearly displayedinitsentiretyandproperlyidentified.The playerinitiatingthefinalbetorraisethatiscalled shallbethefirstplayertoshowtheirhandatthe showdown,whetherthatactionwastakenonthe lastcardoronapastround.

5. Ahandthathasbeenplacedface-uponthetable, andproperlyidentified,isalivehandevenifthe dealercollectsthehandinerror.

6. Aplayerwhofailstotakereasonablemeansto protecttheirhandshallhavenoredressiftheirhand becomesfouledorthedealeraccidentallycollects thehand.

7. Undeclaredchipsormoneydoesnotplay.Money orchipsmustbeinplainsightofthedealerandthe amountvisiblepriortocardsbeingdealtinorder toplay.

8. Chipsand/orcashmaynotbetransferredfromone playertoanother.

9. Propositionwageringand/orsidebetsarenotallowed.

10. ConversationinalanguageotherthanEnglishis forbiddenwhileahandisinprogress.

11. Anyplayer,dealerorsupervisorwhoseesanerror abouttobemadeinawardingapothasanethical obligationtospeakup.

12. Aseatedplayerwhoisdealtahandmaybeobligated tomoneyowedtothepot.

13. TheMoheganSunatPoconoDownsPokerRoomisnotresponsibleforchipsormoneyleftunattendedatatable.Chipsand/orcashremovedbyaplayerwhowillbereturningtothatgamemusthavetheamountverifiedbyasupervisor.

14. Anewplayerwhoisdealtahandmusthavethe minimumbuy-inamountinchips.

15. Ifaplayerwantstocontestapot,theymustdoso immediately.Onceanycardsaredealtforthenext hand,allrightstotheprevioushandhavebeenlost.

16. Averbalstatementorindicationof“fold,”“check,” “call,”“raise”oranannouncementofaspecificsize wager,assumingitiswithintheparametersofthe gamebeingplayed,shallbebindingontheplayerifitis thatplayer’sturntoact.

17. Aplayermaywinwithtoofewcards,butneverwith toomany.

Poker etiquette1. Language,dressandbehaviorshouldbeofastandard appropriateforladiesandgentlemen.

2. Aplayerwhoexpectstobeshowingdownthewinning handshouldshowitimmediately.

3. Itisconsideredimpolitetoasktoseethehandofa playeronehasjustbeateninapotortousethe requestasa“needle.”

4. Althoughdeceptionisanecessarypartofpoker,itis notpolitetouseanexcessiveamountoftimeto makeaplayoneknowswillbemade.

5. Inmostsituations,aplayerwhohasnointerestinthe potshouldstillholdontohishandalthoughnobody hasbet.Theyshouldnotfold,eveninturn,if aparticularplayermaygainanadvantageovera competitorbythatact.Foldingismorelikelyto beunfairtosomeonewhentherearefewerplayers contendingforthepot.

6. Araiseshouldbeannounced.

7. Aplayergoingall-inshouldannouncethatfact.

8. Toassistthedealerinmaintainingacomfortable, fastpaceofplay,aplayershouldturnallhiscards face-downwhenfolding.

9. Ifaplayerexpectstobeleavingthegameforafairly longtime,thesupervisorshouldbenotified.

10. Lengthypost-mortemsaboutahandareunwelcome.

11. Criticismofthewayanotherplayerhaselectedtoplay theirhandortheirgeneralstyleofplayisimpolite andundesirable.

12. Aplayerisentitledtoquitthegameanytimehe chooseswithoutsufferingcriticism.

13. Playersshouldspeakupandassistthedealerby callingattentiontoanerrorintheamountofabet orimproperreadingofahand.

14. Itisimpropertomakeanefforttoseeanother’shole cardssuchasleaningorduckingthehead.Oneis notobligedtolookawayifcardsareopenlyexposed toview.Itisproperforanopponenttocomplain whenaplayerisconstantlygettingtheopportunity toseeanother’sholecards.

15. Thedealerisnottobeheldresponsibleforthings beyondtheircontrol,suchastheidentityofthecards hedeals.

16. Discardedhandsshouldbereleasedonalowlineof flightandatamoderaterateofspeed.Theyshould bedirectedtowardthemuck,notthedealer’shands.

17. Talkoractiondemeaningtothedealerorplayerwill notbetolerated.Throwingcards,name-callingand othersuchuncivilizedbehaviorwillbegroundsfor suspendingorbarringanyplayerfromthePokerRoom.

House Policies 1. Aplayermustbeseatedbyasupervisoriftheywish toplayinagame.

2. Shouldaseatopenonaparticulargame,allexistingplayersatthetablehavearighttoclaimthatseat.Oncethenewplayerphysicallytakestheopenseat,eitherbysittingdown,placingchipsonthetableorpresentingaPlayer’sClubcardorsomeformofidentification,allotherplayersloseanyrightstotheseat.

3. Aplayercannotbeputonalistifseatsareopenon thatgametypeandlimit.

4. Ifaplayer’snameiscalledforagame,theymusttake theseatorrequesttoberolledtothebottomof thelist.

5. Aplayerwillonlyberolledtothebottomofthelist twotimesonaparticulargame.

6. Ifaplayerlocksupaseatinanewgame,theyhave fifteenminutestoclaimtheseatorrisklosingthe seattoanotherplayer.

7. Playersmaynotswitchpositionswithanotherplayer onthelist.

8. Ifthereismorethanonegameofthesametype andlimit,thesupervisorwillseatanewplayerin theshortestgame,tokeepthegamesbalanced.

9. TheMoheganSunatPoconoDownsPokerRoomchippick-uppolicyforplayersawayfromthetablesisasfollows:

Rake Games

Whenadealersitsinthebox,theywillputaplayer whoisabsentfromthetableinto“lobby”(iftheplayer isnotin“lobby”already),bypressingabuttononthe ledscreen.Thelightcorrespondingwiththatseatwill nowflash,puttingtheplayer’sseatintoholdstatus. Theplayerwillhave45minutestoreturntotheirseat. Iftheplayerexceedsthe45-minuteperiod,thedealer willnotifythesupervisorandtheplayer’schipswillbe pickedup.

Time Games Whenadealersitsinthebox,theywillplaceanabsent buttonwhereverthereisaplayerabsentfromthegame. Onceaplayerreceivesasecondabsentbutton,the dealerwillplacetheplayerinto“lobby”fortwenty minutes.Thedealerwillthennotifythesupervisorand theplayers’chipswillbepickedup.

Onceaplayerreturnsafterhavingtheirchipspicked up,theywillnotifyapokerfloorsupervisororabove. Thepokerfloorsupervisorwillthennotifyandescort theguesttothepodiumtoreceivetheirchips.

Playerswhohavehadtheirchipspickedup,butreturn withintenminutesofthepick-up,mayhavetheirinitials placedfirstonthelist.Iftheyreturnaftertenminutes sincethepick-up,theywillbeplacedatthebottomof thelist.

10.Optional dinner list -ifaplayerwishestobeputon thedinnerlist,theymustpicktheirchipsupfrom thegameandaskthesupervisortohavetheir nameputonthedinnerlist.Uponreturningtothe room,theplayerwillhavetheirnameinsertedsecond onthelistforthesametypeandlimit,provided theyreturnwithintheallottedtimeframe.Multiple playersreturningfromdinnerwillbeinsertedevery otherpositiononthelist.Playerswillhaveonehour toreturnfromdinnerSundaythroughThursday,and uptotwohoursonFridayandSaturday.

11. Third man walking -thethirdmanwalkingwillbe anyplayerwhogetsupfromtheirseatinacash gameaftertwootherplayersarealreadyawayfrom thetable.Thisplayerwillberequiredtoreturnto theirseatwithintenminutesorelsetheirseatinthe gamewillbeforfeitedifthereisawaitinglistfor thegame.

12. Ifaplayerdesirestotransfertoanothergameofthe sametypeandlimit,theymaydosoonlyiftheir gameisfullorthereisareplacementplayer.This transfermustbeapprovedbyasupervisor.

13. Playersmayrequestaseatchangewhichwillbe denotedbyaseatchangebutton.

14. Whentwogamesofthesametypeandlimitare combined,thefollowingruleswillapply:

A.)Aplayerwhotransfersfromabrokengametoagame ofthesametype&limitmaycontinuetoplaythe sameamountofmoney.

B.) Ifthebrokengameisano-limitgame,thetransferring playermaynotbringanamountthatexceedsthechip leaderatthatparticulargame.

C.)Ingamesusingblinds,thebuttonmovestotheplayer alreadyatthetablewhoisduetoreceiveit.Theblinds arepostedaccordingly.

15. Whenplayersaretransferringfromanexistinggame toanewgame,theymustwaituntilthenewgameis establishedoronehourafterthenewgamestartstobe transferred.Playerswillbemovedintheorderthey signeduponthetransferlistprovidingthegames meetthebalanceguidelines. Exception:Anewplayerwantstoswitchtableswith aplayerintheexistinggamewhoisfirstonthe transferlist.

16. Thehousereservestherighttoprohibitanyplayers fromplayingonthesamegame.

17. Talkingortextingonacellphonewhileseatedatthe tableisstrictlyprohibited.

18. Thehousereservestherighttomoveanygametoa newlocation.

19. Anyonesolicitingpersonalbusinessfromplayersor employeeswillberemovedfromtheMoheganSun atPoconoDownsPokerRoom.

20.Achangeinthelimitofanygamemustbeapproved byasupervisor.Allactiveplayersmustbepresentat thetableandmustagreeinordertochangethelimit.

21. Anteingforanotherplayerisstrictlyprohibited.

22.Splittingofpotsisstrictlyprohibited.

23.Inlivegames,everyonebutthebettormaycalltime onthecaller.Anyonecancalltimeonaplayerin tournaments.

24.Discourteousbehaviororabusivelanguagewillnot betoleratedunderanycircumstancesatanytime.

oPeratinG Procedures 1. Allgamesaretablestakes.

A.)Tablestakes-thecurrencyorgamingchipsinplay. Aplayermaynotsubtractfromtheircurrencyor gamingchipsatanytimeduringongoingplay.

2. Eachcarddealtmustbethetopcardoffthedeck.

3. Alldiscardedhandsshallbeverifiedbythedealerto determinethatthepropernumbersofcardshave beenreturned.Playersmustdiscardtheirhandsto facilitatesuchinspection.

4. Onlyoneplayerispermittedtoahandandthatplayer mustmakealldecisionswithoutanyadvicefrom anyoneelse.Afloorsupervisormaystoptheaction andinspectanyplayer’shandifdeemednecessary.

5. Anyinformationaboutafoldedhandthatisgivento oneactiveplayerinapotmustbesharedwithallthe playersinthepot.

6. Anuncalledwinninghandshowntoanotherplayer must,uponrequest,beshowntoallplayers.

7. Noplayingover.Noplayerwillbeallowedtoplaytheir ownmoneyinaseatcurrentlyheldbyanotherplayer whoisawayfromthetable.Aplayermaynotplay anotherplayer’schipsoroccupythatplayer’sseat whiletheyareawayfromthetable.

8. Checkandraiseispermittedunlessotherwiseposted.

9. Onlyplayerswhoareseatedand/orrequestahand maybepermittedtoreceivecardsandparticipatein eachbettinground.

10. Managementhastherightto“close”ormakeprivate anygameatanytime.Gamesmaybeclosed regardlessofthenumberofplayersifapprovedby thesupervisor.Closedgamesaresubjectto themaximumtablerentalfeeforthatlimitasifthe gamewereopenandfull.

tHe buy-in 1. Minimumbuy-inisfivetimesthemaximumbetunless otherwiseposted.

2. Anewplayerwhoexpectstobedealtahandmust havetheminimumbuy-inamountconvertedtochips priortobeingdealtahand.

3. Signswillbepostedateachpokertableindicatingtype ofgame,limit,antesorblindsandrakeortime collection.

all-in/table stakes 1. Aplayerisneverobligatedtodropoutofcontention becausetheyhaveinsufficientfundstocallthefull amountofabet.Theymaycallandreceiveactionfor theamountofchipsinfrontofthem.

2. Inan“all-in”situation,oddwhitechipsplayiftheyare partoftheanteorblindstructure.Onagameusing halfdollars,thehalfdollarswillonlyplayinanall-in situationindollarincrements.

3. Whentheactionfallsupontheplayerwhois“all-in,” itpassesclockwisetothenextactiveplayer.

4. Ifaplayergoes“all-in”andlosesthehand,theplayer mustbuyinfortheminimumamountbeforetheycan receiveanotherhand.

5. Aplayerwithnochipsormoneycannotbedealt ahand.

6. Undeclaredchipsormoneydoesnotplay.Moneyor chipsmustbeinplainsightofthedealeronthe playingfeltandtheamountvisiblepriortocardsbeing dealtinordertoplay.

7. Aplayermusthaveatleastthesizeofananteand theminimumbetamounttoplayahandinstud.In Hold‘EmandOmaha,anamountequaltothelarge

blindandatleastonebetatthepostedtableminimum isrequiredtoplayahand.

8. Chipsand/orcashmaynotbetransferredfromone playertoanother.

9. Aplayermayonlyaddtohisgamingchipsorcurrency betweenroundsofplayandmaynotremoveanyofhis gamingchipsfromthepokertableatanytimeduring ongoingplay.

exPosed cards1. Ifacardisaccidentallydealtoffthetable,itshallbe treatedasanexposedcardandremaininplay.The deckshallbere-suitedbythesupervisoratthe completionofthehand.

2. Adowncarddealtface-uporadowncardthatflashes asitisdealtsothatanotherplayermightknowits identityisconsideredtobeanexposedcard.

3. Acardexposedbytheplayerthemselvesisnot consideredtobeanexposedcard.

4. Wherethereisaquestionofwhetheracardactually flashed,theplayerisentitledtohaveitreplacedif theyhavenotlookedatthecard.

5. Thetypeofpokergameshalldeterminethemethod ofreplacementofanexposedcard.

sTud1. Ifaplayer’sfirstorsecondholecardisaccidentally turnedface-upinthedealingprocess,thethirdcard shallbedealtface-down.

2. Ifbothholecardsareaccidentallyturnedface-up,the dealershallcollectallthreecards(afterdealingafinal downcardtothatspot),calltheplayer’shanddead andreturntheplayer’sante.

3. Ifthefinalcarddealttoaplayerisexposed,the followingruleswillapply:

A.)Ifthefirstplayerreceivedtheircardface-up,all remainingplayersreceivetheircardsface-upand actionisstartedwiththeplayerwhosehandwas highonsixthstreet.

B.) Ifanyotherplayer’scardisexposed,thatplayerwill havetheoptionofdeclaringthemselves“all-in”prior toanyaction.Actionwillstartwiththehighhandon sixthstreet.

C.)Inheads-upplay,ifthefirstplayer’scardisexposed, thesecondplayer’scardwillbeexposedandaction willcontinueasnormal.Shouldonlythesecond player’scardbeexposedthentherewillbenomore bettingandbothhandswillbeshown.

hOld’em/Omaha Ifanyoftheface-downcardsinthegamesofHold‘EmorOmahaareaccidentallyturnedface-upinthedealingprocess,thedealershallexchangetheexposedcardwithacardoffthetopofthedeckonceallthehandshavebeendealt.Theexposedcardwillbeplacedontopofthestubandusedasaburncard.Twoormoreexposedcardsisamisdeal.

Misdeals1. Amisdealshallcauseallthecardstobereturnedto thedealerforareshuffleprovidedattentioniscalled totheerrorbeforesubstantialactionhastakenplace.

2. Thefollowingactionsshallcauseamisdealtobe declaredbeforesubstantialaction:

A.)Failuretoshuffleandcutthedeckbeforedealing.

B.) Dealingtothewrongplayerfirst.

C.)Inagameusinganante,ifaplayerwhohasantedis dealtout,itshallbedeclaredamisdealsolongasno playerhasyetbeendealtallthecardsforastarting hand.Iftheerrorisnotdiscovereduntiloneormore playershasbeendealtallofhiscards,theplayerdealt outreceiveshisantebackandthehandisplayedout.

D.)Inagameusingblinds,dealingoutaplayeratthe tableordealingoutanabsentplayerwhohas requestedahandshallbedeclaredamisdealsolong asnoplayerhasyetbeendealtallthecardsfora startinghand.

E.) Dealingtoofewcardstoaplayerexceptwhenthat playerisduetogetthetopcardofthedeck.

F.) Dealingtoomanycardstoaplayer,exceptwhenthe lastcarddealtwasduetobetheburncardandcan bereturnedtothedeck.

G.)Ifeitherthefirstorsecondcardoffthedeck isexposed.

H.)Iftwoormorecardsareexposedbythedealerthat needtobereplaced.

I.) Ifmorethanoneboxed(improperlyfaced)cardis presentinthedeck.

3. Amisdealdoesnotoccurwhen:

A.)Inanygameplayedwithanante,ifthepotisfound tobeshortoneormoreantes.Theoffender(s)shall

havealivehandandhavetoputinthemissingante. Thedealisplayedoutwithashortpotiftheoffender cannotbedetermined.

B.) Anabsentplayerisdealtin.Thehandiskilledifthey arenotbackbythetimeitistheirturntoact.

C.)Anineligibleseatorplayerisdealtin.Thedealer continuestodealacompletehandinthatspot face-downandthenthehandiskilled.

D.)Aplayerdiscoversthattheyhavetoomanycards aftersubstantialactionhasoccurred.Theyhavea deadhand.

E.) Aplayerdiscoverstheyhavetoofewcards.Thehand maybeplayed.

F.) Acardinitiallydealttothewrongplayercanbemoved toitsproperownerinasimplemanner,withoutany damagebeingdone.Ifthereisanychancethewrong playerlookedatthecard’sface,itisamisdeal.

defecTive deckIftheintegrityofthedeckisobviouslysubstandard,thepotmaybedeclareddeadandallbetsreturned.Aplayerwhorealizesthedeckis“defective”hasanobligationtocallattentiontothefactimmediately.Aplayerwhoplaysknowingthatthedeckisdefectiveinordertoaltertheresultsofthegame,shallbesubjecttosuspensionofplayinthecardroom.

A.)Aplayerthinkstheyhavewonthepotandthereis stillalivehandout.

B.) Aplayeralreadyinforabetthinksthattheyowe moremoney.

C.)Aplayerhassomehowobligatedthemselftoput moneyintothepotandisattemptingtofoldinstead.

4. Anuncalledwinninghandshowntoanotherplayer must,uponrequest,beshowntoallplayers.

bettinG and raisinG 1. Checkandraiseispermittedunlessotherwiseposted.

2. Abetmadewithouttheword“raise”beingstated, thatishalformoretheamountneededtoraise,shall beconsideredaraise.Ifitislessthanhalf,itwillbe consideredacall.

3. Ifaplayermakesacallbehindaraise,theplayermay takethemoneybackifitappearstheplayerwas unawarethataraisehadbeenmade.Allofthecalled moneymustremaininthepotifasubsequentplayer hascalledthecompletebetorexposedtheirhand.

4. Stringbetsarenotallowed.Ifaplayerintendstoraise, theyshouldeitherputallthechipsconstitutingthe raiseintothepotatonetimeorannouncethatthey intendtoraise.

5. Anoversizedchipplacedinthepotisconsideredtobe themaximumallowablebetiftheplayerisfirsttoact andonlyacallifthereisabettotheplayer.

6. Ongameswherecashplays,cashplacedintothepot withoutaskingforchangeshallbetreatedinthesame manneraschips.Anoversizebillplacedinthebetting areaisacallunlessotherwiseannounced.

7. Ifaplayermistakenlybetsthelowerlimitonan upperlimitbetanditisdiscoveredbeforetheround ofbettingiscomplete,allbetsmustbeincreasedto thepropersize.

8. Araiseisdefinedasabetwhichincreasesthesizeof apreviouswagerduringaroundofbetting.Inlimit games,thefollowingshallapply:

A.)Theminimumsizebettoreopenthebettinground mustbeatleasthalfa“fullbet.”Aplayerfacingat leasthalfofafullbetmayfold,callorraiseafullbet.

B.) Aplayerfacingawageroflessthanhalfafullbet mayfold,callorcompletethebet.

9. Instructuredgames,amaximumofthreeraisesare allowedunlesstheactionisbetweentwoplayersin whichcasethereisnolimittothenumberofraises. Inano-limitgame,thereisnolimittothenumber ofraises.

A.)All-inplayersdonotaffectthemaximumnumberof raisesallowed.

B.) Oncebettinghasbeencapped,thefoldingofa player’shanddoesnotuncapthebetting.

10. Propositionwageringand/orsidebetsarenotallowed.

Guidelines fOR usinG The beTTinG line 1. Thebettinglineservestwomainpurposes:itallows asafeworkspaceforplayerstoconstructtheirbets priortocommittingthemtothepotanditassists thedealerinbeingabletoreachthebetsmoreeasily. Forpurposesofdeterminingaction,thebettingline extendsupwardintospace.

2. Anychipsreleasedinthesamemotionwillbe consideredpartofthesameactionevenifsome ofthemdonotreach(orremaininsideof)the bettingline.

3. Forchipsheldinthehand,forwardmotionwhich reachesthevicinityoftheextendedbettingline commitsaplayertotakeatleastsomeminimum action.Thepreciseamountoftheactionmaystill needtobedetermined.

4. Theonlywayaplayerisallowedasecondtripacross thebettinglineisiftheyannouncetheirintentionto raise,priortoreleasingorcuttingoutanychipsonto thefeltinsidethebettingline.

5. Otherthananannouncedraise,onceaplayerbegins towithdrawtheirhandfrominsidethebettingline, theiractioniscomplete;nootherplayershouldassume actioniscompleteuntilthen.Furthermore,no subsequentplayershouldtakeanyactionifthestatus oramountofapreviousactionisunclearforanyreason. Thisespeciallyappliestoprematurelyrevealing one’shand.

6. Noneoftheseguidelinessupersedetheauthorityof thepokersupervisortomakedecisionsintendedto preservetheequityandfairnessofthegame. Furthermore,anyattemptbyaplayertousethe bettinglinetomanipulateorcircumventtherules ofpokerwillbeconsideredbymanagementtobea punishableaction.

Hand ProtectionAplayerwhofailstotakereasonablemeanstoprotecttheirhandshallhavenoredressiftheirhandbecomesfouledorthedealeraccidentallycollectsthehand.
